  1. Have a BTTT on me. This is a lovely car and deserves to go to a good home! Andrew
  2. I know just how you're feeling, Paul - I went through all of the same emotions when I sold it four years ago. A bit of history - it was once owned by Tim Henman's brother! Looking at the photos I find it hard to believe that I once owned such a fabulous looking car. After selling it I was without a Seven for 18 months before the itch got the better of me - I bought an ex-Academy racer in 2006, and started doing hillclimbs and sprints. See you on the hills in 2012, Paul! Best wishes for the sale - it's a great buy! Andrew
  3. Paul Brown! That's the day he and the lovely Lisa are tying the knot 🥰 🥰! I always get jittery at this stage in the week when sprinting the next weekend, scouring all the online weather forecasts. No doubt Paul and Lisa are doing the same, and I hope that they get a really lovely day - I'm sure it will be, whatever the weather. With love and best wishes from Andrew, Janice and Lisa.
  4. Mike - good to hear you'll be back soon. Andrew
  5. Mike - at the rate she's improving it's bound to happen soon! When are you going to be back in combat, by the way? Andrew
  6. Paul - I think Bec should be doing this professionally! Absolutely brilliant pics that perfectly capture the highs (and lows!) of the day. Thanks for posting them. Andrew
  7. My second timed run . Took more than a second off my PB from last year, but still not enough to beat Al 😶‍🌫️. If only I'd been tidier through Kennel ... Andrew
  8. So glad you're OK! It wasn't easy for any of us 'getting back into the saddle' after what you call your 'little slip up' and it was a mighty relief to see you back in the paddock afterwards. (Mind you, there was some suspicion that you were stringing out your time at the top of the hill with some rather attractive medics before rejoining us! ). Chill, have a cigar, and let's have you back in the saddle ASAP! Andrew
  9. Anyone lost a rear number plate? It's a large rear plate marked 'Lucky 7 Racing' (reg J310BPU). Couldn't find anything with that reg on a quick walk round the paddock, but let me know if you know its owner. Andrew
  10. Phew! - that one very nearly went totally wrong. Missed the second chicane altogether in first practice and had a really scary spin after Avon Rise on my last timed run . It's a good job that the first run of the afternoon was a decent one! A great Class 1 entry made it a brilliant day, and there were many excellent performances. Al continues to wring the neck of his car to an indecent degree 😶‍🌫️ and everyone's times were tumbling with every session. Lisa says she didn't quite 'get it' but still managed to knock off 16 seconds between her first and last runs. If this continues she may well have to negotiate with her brother for a dual drive 😔! See you at Shelsley. Andrew
  11. Looking forward to it, Mr Lynch. Andrew
  12. Hi Graham - I'm really pleased you're back in action for the weekend. Says a lot for the professionalism of McMillan Motorsport - their experience with bent race cars means that they can work their magic in super-quick time. See you on Saturday Andrew
  13. Great news - it's good to see so many of Class 1 there . Thanks, Simon. Andrew
  14. Thanks, Al. It was a lovely hot day and it's the first time (after three previous visits to MIRA) that I felt I'd got the exit to the first bend and Tower something like right. Good luck for Epynt - sounds a great addition to the calendar, but it's a bit far for me. My next event will be Castle Combe - are you going? Andrew
  15. It really was a great day - thanks for the congrats . Well done to all Class 1 competitors - there were many with much improved times - and particularly Al who must have knocked about a second off his PB 😶‍🌫️. That final run was great to watch. I was really surprised with the time of my first timed run. I usually like to get a decent banker in on T1 but seemed to get an attack of the red mist. I knew it was fairly quick but it felt really untidy. I'm gutted that my video camera wasn't working , so unfortunately no footage this time, David. Can't wait for MIRA and just hope we get the same lovely weather as at Curbs. See you there . Andrew
  16. Pleased you're up and running again, Chris - that YouTube video was difficult viewing! See you at Curborough. Andrew

What a relief to get started again after the grim winter months. And what a day! - I always find Goodwood a magical place, and in the April sunshine yesterday it was just perfect. The track was excellent - very grippy - and inspired the confidence for many of us to get much improved times. It was great to get the win, particularly on the day that Matthew got his first Class 3 victory. The only thing missing for me was the sound of whistling wings. Roll on The Laddie's return! 18. I'll do my best, Matt! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday . Andrew
  19. Hello Graham I'd be very happy to be a buddy for one of our new competitors in Class 1 at Goodwood. Andrew
  20. I absolutely love this! Just watched it all the way through with my two-month-old grandson and he was mesmerised by it. Shelsley is a magic place and this video captured the atmosphere perfectly. Andrew
  21. Great news Greg and Kristy. There's going to be a cracking business opportunity for someone to run a creche facility at future events! Andrew
  22. Hi Shaun. Mine's arrived - great job, thanks. Andrew
