  1. Peter, I think the vin number is visible through a gap in the black masking through the front windscreen near side. So a walk around your nrearest car park or supermarket should get the number. Rob
  2. nothing wrong with using rainwater as long as its been collected in plastic.
  3. Rob, Yes they will fit. What you do is mount the drop links on the inside of the ARB blades to give extra clearance. Rob
  4. Hi, I am still looking for a used r300, 400 or 500 silencer, the short type and condition not important. There must be loads out there that owners have taken off because they are making too much noise. Any one got one or know of one for sale please let me know? Ta Rob
  5. selling brand new black powder coated exhaust guards to fit silencer £25 and Catalyst £15 plus p&p Rob
  6. Cat for the 421 system is £549.50 from CC.
  7. If you had an accident the loss adjuster would have to make an appointment to view the car, you can then fit the catalyst before inspection. If you are too badly injured to do so then this would be the least of your worries. What you should be aware of is that your catalyst will rapidly deteriorate when used on track, the use of full throttle and constant acceleration overfuelling will over heat the cat and it will fuse to a solid block and be useless in no time. Many cats are contained within the silencer box ( Racelines for one) and are indestiguishable from the non cat silencer, it is therefore impossible to tell if a cat is being used without either removing the silencer and probing or doing an emissions test. I would advise you to rethink before selling . Rob
  8. Not me Arnie, I stopped using cassettes two years ago.
  9. Message for IAN LOCKERBIE,sorry it is not possible to reply to blat mail, you will have to send me your email address. In answer to your questions , Yes still for sale, no the tuner is not cosmetically or functionally challenged, it is in very good order. The tuner has phono sockets for the outputs, it is of the era of the 44 control/606 power amp and finished in a two tones of gunmetal grey. Cheerio Rob Edited by - Rob Walker on 6 Jan 2007 18:17:36

  11. Garret USA had a nice turbo kit on their website for the Hayabusa, but with a more sensible power output that should last longer than 5 minutes.

  15. Stu, It most certainly should never be run dry If its running without oil I am not surprised its very noisy it will be knackered. The diff unit should be filled with EP80 oil until it runs out of the filler hole on the back cover plate. Rob
