If any body would like some information ring me at Quaife 01732 741144 and I can fill you in on all the ratios and spec. Just for information it has nothing at all in common with a type nine other than it is the same size (almost) and has the Ford bolt pattern, input and output shaft spines. The mainshaft and layshaft are 10mm further apart allowing much bigger and stronger bearings and gears with no big hole in the top of the casing weakening the box. We currently have them in a Nissan 350Z Italian Race series, Ginetta G50 and a lot of MK1 Mk2 Escort rally cars; I have a customer in Barbados who is 1.5 seconds a mile faster with the box in his MK1. Just a note I had the first go in any car fitted with the box when we fitted it to my Seven last year. It was so good Mike Quaife swapped me his Elise for the Seven which you should be soon seeing in the press on road test.
