Julian H, Cheers Already have a SBFS 1/2 hood which Is almost exclusively what I use, and brilliant it is, I also have a full hood, but zip has gone, I am looking at an unused second hand hood, which is cheaper than having zip fixed, hood was still in original packing and was just trying to save the seller unwrapping, but all sorted now, but thanks for the input Tim

Ahmed I wonder if the celotex might be a bit soft, I think its designed to go into cavities, you might want to consider something like http://www.marmox.co.uk/dry-lining-insulation, should give a slightly tougher surface , if your only trying to keep the 7 dry you could also consider a Carcoon inside the garage Tim

ah you have discovered how soft the paint is on 7s probably best to polish by hand :-) , how did the new garage project go in the end

It was just the residual pressure I was reffering to Ian, certainly not have moments senior enough to disconnect while running , yet, :-)

when you disconnect the fuel pump pipe from the feed pipe beware, its a pressurised system you will get a spurt of fuel, its not much but as you will be looking at what you are doing it WILL go in eyes and mouth, don,t ask how I know luckily I wear glasses so very little actualy made it into eyes, have a cloth over connector when you split it .

GJT didn't find one with a dinner party but did find one about the trans Siberian express here where you invite Robert Peston, then explain why, however That one doesn't appear either if you use the search tool. with either "Robert Peston" or Robert AND Peston. Shaun Hi, Thanks for reply, I posted specifics last week in Bugs here, 2 other members have tested,and had same problem with that specific thread tested with Mac and PC, the post I was looking for was posted several months ago so shouldn't be just a delay to indexing, cheers Tim

Thanks Steve, I suppose the problem is we don't know how much isn't indexed, even if I do say so myself I am pretty good a searching and often have problems finding things I know have been posted , far more often than on old BC. It is always concerning if we don't know what we can't find (if you see what I mean) especially when trying to search Tech. I know Google searches find the stuff that isn't indexed but I suspect a lot of people aren't aware that Google can be used and how to use it to search specific sites, and it shouldn't really be necessary to go to an outside search engine. Especialy when members are regulary told that there is nothing wrong with the search tool and we must be doing something incorrectly. Hopefully as time goes on NDP will be able to sort the problem, indexing shouldn't be a difficult task, should it Tim

I thought I had got my head around this, I can find most stuff eventually (but do resort to Google) but what am I doing wrong here, quite prepared to be chastised for stupidity on a thread here I did an upload guide for images, I was trying to find it yesterday to answer a question posted , I could not find it anywhere until I resorted to using Google, using terms like click upload button returned way too many results as did click AND upload AND button tried "click upload button" found nothing, I know that phrase occurs in the post so why am I not finding the post. what am I doing wrong
