  5. John I would still argue that 22 months and 10k miles would qualify as "not of merchantable quality" especially as it's a known fault, I am not one of those people who believe its always someone else's fault but I think I would at least be looking for a contribution from CC. IMHO.
  6. Dont know how similar this is but there is a thread here describing similar spooky fuse blowing/immobiliser problems, ithink tracing back to rear wheel speedo sensor short, just wondered if something got caught / moved when taking car of stands good luck
  7. Irish Hi, this is one of them hope it helps
  8. suspect random numbers, as not consistent, also seem to recall Dominic (CC South) saying fuel pressure not measured (CSR 200 by the way Not R)
  9. If the stack buttons are the same as mine they are in order Shift light, stack 1, stack 2, stack 4, stack 3, pressing stack 3 cycles through all functions pressing stack 1 and stack 3 together toggles between MPH and KPH other buttons defined on this thread as well as links to manual and various other stuff on the stack dash
  10. Good point, or maybe grid Girl massage oil
  11. An interesting subject Llama pigment did you know that the amount of melanin pigments was investigated in 80 Argentinean llama, representative of seven phenotypes and four different fleece colours, by means of spectrophotometric assays: SpEM (spectrophotometric eumelanin), SpPM (spectrophotometric pheomelanin), SpASM (spectrophotometric alkali soluble melanin), and SpTM (spectrophotometric total melanin). It was found that, although to a different extent, the quantitative variation of these pigments was affected both by phenotypes and fleece colours and, hence, it was possible to identify and to distinguish homogeneous groups on the basis of these two factors. In particular, SpEM revealed the most reliable parameter for a discrimination among these groups. Low concentrations of this pigment characterize red, wild, and red black phenotypes and distinguish them from black and tan and non-agouti black ones, both showing high concentrations; low concentrations also distinguish reddish brown fleece colour from very dark red and black ones.
  12. HMM if my footwell bulkhead temp is anything to go by I suspect the catch tank achieves a fairly high temp, however for the sake of 200ml of oil I take your excellent point and will not even consider reusing oil in future 😬 😶‍🌫️
  13. good point hadn't thought about that, not disputing but why would catch tank have any more condensation than rocker box

  16. When I got mine Dominic suggested 500ml every 500 miles, I usualy mark level in catch tank, if only a small amount, bung in about 200ml, take it for a quick blat then if no new oil in catch tank repeat, in 200 ml increments, seems to have worked so far. Probably a bit contentious but if catch tank kept clean then any oil spewed out can be reused next time, although so far only had tiny amounts so haven't done so. Tim
  17. Good point about LP tyres hadn't realised it had 45s fitted, the black tyre stick is not really a bodge the guy who fits the racing tyres to Brothers GT40 (rep) always uses as standard just to "make sure", although obviously a strip and re powder coat is the best option
  18. Seeing the prototype Pah! looking forward to free tool when they go into production 😬
  19. Oh its official Llentil isn't a Llama she's a figment

  21. should have thought of this earlier, you could always have them tubed a little used but excellent fix for all things leaky 😬 Edited by - tbird on 10 Apr 2010 18:16:21
  22. Dont know if this is relevant, but i dont think the Fans normaly cut in until around 101 degrees and cut back out at 100, at least thats what happens on my CSR, it does'nt trigger any alarms, could it be you are looking for a problem that may not be there and it is an alarm that is set low, I'm Pretty new to Sevens so I guess other people will know loads more, just reporting what happens on mine 😬 added, although it only ever reaches this temp when close to stationary Edited by - tbird on 10 Apr 2010 18:42:45
