  5. Steve you will also need some, 3 i think, big jubilee clips to attach to silencer, you might want to consider decent quality stainless for these to save them looking tatty and rotting out, I am not sure CC sell stainless clips so you will need to source from elsewhere , got mine from stagonset but something seems to be amiss there at the moment Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black
  6. Yeh works fine on my bespoke AAS 7" can, just thought as I am still in my first year ish of 7 life and have lardy CSR not a proper 7, I would choose my words carefully 😬 Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black

    Wiper Fuse

Doesn't the fact that the problem hasn't happened since you cleaned the screen suggest CC were correct about friction, other than that sounds like damaged wire somewhere, I guess you could run a temp feed and see if fault disappears CSR 200 Aztec and Black
  9. Dont think its a new problem, mine does it and its 3+ year old CSR, if you dont press the switch firmly it seems to stop just shy of firm contact and relay buzzes, if pressed a little more firmly it overcomes resistance (physical not electrical) and snaps home firmly, once I discovered this, if needed, I just remember to press firmly through initial resistance and its fine, not ideal but ok, sometime I will find a better switch if I can be 🙆🏻'd 😬 Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black
  10. absolutely, slag heaps, coblestones, smog, always raining, nothing to see here, you just stay in the nice comfy south, leave the badlands to us that understand them, oh forgot to add and Midges that will eat you ass off if you come anywhere near *tongue* CSR 200 Aztec and Black

  13. I have a CSR so may not be same but presume its similar as also dry sump Duratec, I have a catch tank to catch oil from breather, guess you have also. So is the catch tank empty or with just a small amount in, if so stick a piece of tape to catch tank and mark oil level, add between 250ml to 500ml of oil go for a quick drive to bring up to temp, make sure you have a reasonably "spirited" few minutes, check catch tank, if no oil blown into catch tank add another 250ml to sump , another quick drive and repeat until some oil blows into catch tank. at this point I left the car for 24 hours then using long dipstick checked oil level in sump and notched the dipstick to give oil level for my car, if normal driving bung in 250ml or so every 500miles, check catch tank levels every so often, normaly when car has been standing for a day or so you can check oil in sump to get an idea of oil level, pretty quickly you will get a feel for how your driving style uses oil, obviously track days will use more oil so check after every session. empty oil from catch tank occasionaly. 15. cheers Rob, mine behaves similarly but about +10 compared to yours, that could possibly be difference between gauges I suppose, as I say not had a problem, but just thought a fan switch may be a good Idea, save me worrying, seem to remember someone, maybe Hanns Per saying his regularly ran at over 100. and thanks for the links, Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black Edited by - tbird on 14 Jul 2010 01:26:10
  16. Has anyone fitted a Fan override switch to a CSR, it has never overheated as such but as climbing to 110 when stuck in traffic jam on autobahn I was getting a bit twitchy and would like to be able to pre-empt swtch on , car normaly runs at 80-83 with fan switching in at around 100 (all reading from stack dash) presume fans are switched by ECU so would dumping relay to earth via switch potentialy damage ECU would it be possible to adjust via ecu, its the standard ecu AFAIK any thought gratefully received Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black
