    re cookies

Jingers Hi, Thanks for the pointer, took a while to find a Chrome cookie editor that worked but once I had one , user Cookie was flagged as a session cookie, un checked session option and gave it a good long date, sorted, don't have to resubmit profile, well not until Christmas 2011 at earliest anyway *thumbup* *thumbup* *thumbup* 😶‍🌫️ Tim Edited by - tbird on 9 Feb 2011 23:56:58

  3. Barry did following tests hope it may help and save you some Time Window7 and Chrome new session with chrome Blatchat not opened cookies blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies style after I open Blatchet blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmc _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies ASPSESSIONIDCQBQSQBD Date style After I re submit profile blatchat.com cookies _utma _utmb _utmc _utmz www.blatchat.com cookies ASPSESSIONIDCQBQSQBD Date User style OK after I close Chrome the "user Cookie" deletes its self, when I re submit profile it creates a new cookie so as the cookie contains this string MyName=tbird&MyPostColour=inherit&ThisIsMe=11343&ShowSigsImages=1&ShowSigs=1&ShowImages=1 it seems this is what defines showing images it is also set to expire "when I close Browser" could this be the problem Tim Edited by - tbird on 9 Feb 2011 12:04:51

  7. Barry Hi, I am also seeing the problem where I need to resubmit my profile each time I log on, before I see images (windows 7 and chrome) also just had a shed load of e-mails notifying me of posts to favourite picture thread, the notify option is not ticked, neither of these is a big problem i know you are trying to sort bugs, just thought I would let you know, thanks for all your good work cheers Tim

  17. Bit of a strange suggestion I know (its probably just me), if you can get a V small amount of liquid on your finger, taste it if its really sweet on tongue its coolant if not its condensation (or cat pee or something else ), never done me any harm Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black Edited by - tbird on 6 Feb 2011 14:48:15
  18. Nope, it would still ping out, get between the sealed glove port, somehow, role 20 yards, up hill, and fall down a drain cover that was not there when you started the job, you know its true 😔 Tim CSR 200 Aztec and Black
  19. Think 3ohm accross switch may be resistance of bulbs plus wiring which would indicate OC switch if you had 3 ohm accross switch it would be getting a tad warm 😬 and lights would be on permanently but v dim, best way to check switch will be to mark position of wires then remove (or disconnect battery), test meter for 0 ohms when probes shorted together, then measure across terminals for resistance switching between v high and less than 1 ohm as switch operated. if always high then switch fubar-ed and go to Nick's instructions above. teaching granny mode on, for voltage, with battery and switch all connected, select DC volts on meter, select appropriate range, clip black probe to battery earth or engine, with red probe check for 12v at battery side of switch terminals. (may need ignition on depending on wiring). 12v should switch across terminals as switch operated.
