I was hoping that going for a lowered floor was going to get me far away enough from the cage to be comfortable. Although it made enough difference that I can now sit with the Tillett in place and have enough room to wear a helmet for on track, I still feel a bit too close to the cage for comfort when touring.
Job for over Christmas is to tilt the Tillett backwards to see how much difference that makes. If I’m still not comfortable I’ll have to look at different options.
Saw Linds from Seven Tweeks a year or two back @ Stoneleigh and his (B4 ?) seat was tilted well back, which seemed to get him well away from the cage. As I think I’ve seen you post before though Myles, there comes a point where you can get seated too low and visibility of the extremes of the car can become an issue.
