David - my (226bhp) car uses the cream coloured ones which I believe are standard (at least on the 1.6 SuperSport). They are however running at close to 100% duty cycle at the top end.
The green Volvo ones have been recommended to me by Track and Road - they are about £40 each and apparently are a better type of injector than the original items.

Or perhaps this is more to sir's liking - ooh suits you 😬

Simon - I am sooo disappointed in your behaviour. Go and drive it through some mud! You and Adrian will be getting top marks in the Concours as well as the sprinting 😔.
Thanks for getting rid of the de-dion though - with the price of steel these days it should have been worth a few pence at least 😬

I gave up on RS15s as they just glazed over - deglazing with sandpaper helps but doesn't last long. I do over 5000 road miles a year and compete in the club speed championship. I think if you do a lot of trackdays or races then they are good but IMHO they just aren't suitable for road/sprint. Others will disagree and there are plenty of sprinters using RS15s.
I switched to RS14s on the front and RS4-2s on the rear which seems to be working well for me. The RS14s need to be warm (at least one brake application) before they work well - I just left foot brake whilst driving to the start line.

Neil - NGK BCPR7E or BCPR7ES. £10 for 4 from Halfords (maybe even cheaper elsewhere).

The retaining channels should be secured - there should be 2 studs where they fit which pass through slots in the channel. 2 nuts then secure the channel in place.
At least that is how it works on my 1997 chassis.

Just spotted this on the Caterham online store.
I was looking for something like this a while ago but ended up buying the race half width screens.
Anyway, I thought it might interest some people.

As we were packing up to leave, one of the motorbike riders came over to talk to us. He asked whether we were driving back to Slough in our car. When we said yes he said that he really admired people who drive to events just like he used to (he was certainly a good few years older than us ) and that we would be suprised at how much respect others had for us doing that. That really made my day!
The rain on the way home was pretty grim but didn't dampen our enjoyment of the day. See you all at Curborough.

Cheers Martin. I'll be at Curborough so can take a peek then. Looked at Rob Margel's wings this weekend which are DITP items and it looks like 215s will just about fit.

Sorry about the sound - my microphone wires are a bit dodgy!
I was taking Hall in 2nd, changing up to 3rd through Loggerheads and staying in 3rd for the corner before Triangle (Fletcher's Dellow), dropping to 2nd for Triangle, up to 3rd through Keepers and onto Cedar Straight taking 4th half way up Cedar and then dropping to 2nd for Fallow and through Museum then 3rd and snatching 4th just before the line.
I had tried taking Fletcher's Dellow in 2nd but it wasn't worth the 2 extra gear changes.
N.B. diff is 3.62

Thanks Martin. I have race stays on mine which put the wings pretty close to the tyre. With standard Caterham wings, fitting wheels with 185/60s is a bit of a fiddle. Please could you measure the width of the wings for me - at the widest part.
Cheers.

Thanks - might well be a solution for me then.

Click on the FAQ sticky post at the top and all will be revealed.
Not much in the South I'm afraid. You've missed Goodwood. Curborough would be a good one to come to as it is a 7 club event and is fairly easy to get to (maybe 2 1/2 hours from Surrey).

Are these wings (as now sold by RiF) wide enough to cover a 215 section tyre?
I was originally thinking of changing to the CSR wings but they are very expensive and require a modified wing stay to fit an S3 car. The DITP style ones should fit on the normal wingstay and are half the price.

Mark - I've done it and will email to you and Rob.

A long shot I know, but has anyone got a roll bar mounted tyre rack for a standard single diagonal FIA bar that they no longer need?

That would indeed be us on our way to Loton .
