1) If you wear a crash helmet, it's worth looking at the B6 which has a headrest set back slightly so that your head isn't pushed forward when wearing a helmet
2) Makes little difference if you use the same runners although you can tilt the seat with spacers.
3) IMO makes no difference with respect to comfort but it makes a big difference in the winter as Tilletts get very cold. The pads insulate you from that to a degree. We've got Oxted ones.
4) I resused the leather seat runners but you get some box section ali non-ajustable ones in the Tillett kit. Tillett do their own version as well.

I think some people have used a piece of software called. Might be worth a go as you can download a limited version for free.

The Oracle that is the Internet proves otherwise:
And Mr Sankey, how would you explain your T1 of 98.55s? And no it wasn't raining at that point!

Just listened carefully to the P2 spin and yes I really did just say "oops" 😬. Not sure that is what I was thinking 😳.

I'll post my timed runs later but, for your entertainment,. It didn't seem that bad at the time but the fence is awfully close.

I had the same problem. A couple of washers under the engine mount helped but as in your case the air box then fouled the nose cone. In the end I cut the airbox and fibreglassed a new bulge into it in the right place. I emailed Bernard and he said it was a problem on some chassis' and that he was having the mould altered.

You mean this one? 😬

Just got around to sorting my video out. A disappointing 68.35. ☹️

103.6mph according to the Racekeper. The wiggle I got under braking from that speed made me twitch

The Stack was showing 102 I think. I need more power :-)
Shame I fluffed that gear change just after the start but I think that probably only cost me 100ths rather than 10ths.

Are you sure? Here shows 11 in stock.
Unless of course you are talking about a full width one which is rarer than hens teeth and rocking horse droppings.

Must try harder:
-
I had the same problem as you but solved it by spacing the tensioner away from the pump cradle with a couple of washers. I checked the DS belt run and it is still straight.

Wellmy 1st timed run which was my quickest. Decidedly ragged in places
.

Thanks for the reminder Rob. Just ordered again as we were missing 7,6 and 9 plus were low on few others. I was able to order 100 in any combination
for £24 delivered.

why is it difficult to use foam filters on jenveys?
The backplate fouls the engine bay diagonal chassis rail.
I bought a 50mm deep fibreglass backplate from Jenvey in the hope that would clear it but it still fouls. I am hoping that with some fettling I can get it to fit at some point.
I have seen people use throtle body extensions and short trumpets - that might be the route to go. I have also seen a backplate fitted to the trumpets using rubber grommets.
N.B my engine was mapped with the BS airbox and filter in place and it runs brilliantly (234bhp).

It would have been better to map it with the chosen filtering system in place as even a foam airfilter can alter the airflow.
I am using the latest BS airbox with 90mm trumpets with good results but you won't know with 110mm until you try it. If you want to use a pipercross or ITG filter you might have difficulty fitting one if you are using Jenvey throttle bodies.

It was actually my wife (wearing a pink crash helmet not a woolly hat
), taking the car for it's MOT. It was a little damp ❗. I was following in my nice dry tintop 😬.

I've been using a Red Top 15 for about 8 years now.
I'm currently on my 3rd but that is due to killing one at a sprint when my alternator packed up and I had to charge it using jump leads from my tow car. The other 2 lasted several years and in fact it was the origninal 8 year old one that I killed above.
I have a cut-off switch as an immobiliser will drain them fairly quickly.
Shaun and Gill Elwell, I presume
