I am using the Jenvey throttle linkage under the TBs and running the cable round the front of the engine and back to the pedal box. What is the best way to attach the outer at the pedal box? Ideally I would take the fitting off the end of the K throttle cable but I can't see how to do that. Alternatively, Caterham sell a Duratec throttle cable which just looks like a longer version of the K cable but I'm not sure it's long enough and I would have to butcher the TB end. Suggestions and pictures gratefully received.

OK -i'll give that a whirl if no one has something closer. Cheers.

Has anyone got an Emerald map for a Duratec 2.0 they would let me have?
It's a Raceline engine with CNC head, 1mm oversize valves, Raceline's RD300 cams and 48mm Throttle bodies. The car will be properly mapped but I would like a map that would at least let me start the car and check it runs OK before trailering to the rolling road.

I'll let him know. Thanks.

A friend with a Westfield is looking for a set of pistons for a 1600 X-flow with a 60 thou overbore. They don't have to be anything special.

Dry sump tower to rear vent and front vent to catch tank is how I ran mine.

Thanks Ian - I've got 90 mm trumpets but if I need to use an airbox then I'll have to get some shorter ones.
Getting closer to completion now but have to swap my injectors for the short ones like you have otherwise the fuel rail fouls the backplate and it all starts getting messy
. Off to Think Auto tomorrow morning to get all the hoses sorted and then on to Good Fabs in the afternoon to have the exhaust fitted properly. That just leaves the wiring to be sorted. I might make the start of the season after all.

Is this airbox the one to have and does it fit a Pipercross backplate?
Is there any decent alternative?
Hoping not to need one but if I do would like to get the one that is least restrictive.
I understand that the R500 one is not great - is this true?
Thanks,
Shaun

Thanks folks.

Is there a boss for the exhaust mounting bracket on the drivers side?
If not what's the best route to fitting the bracket?
Thanks,
Shaun

Still a lot of work to do including plumbing and wiring so a few weeks to go before it will be running. Hope to have it done by the end of March.

Well there is now a Ford engine in my engine bay

Jenvey 45mm direct to head throttle bodies with 90mm trumpets. DVA modified throttle linkage, fuel rail and mounting brackets. £450
Bernard Scouse airbox including back plate (machined for Jenvey 45mm throttle bodies) plus large K&N filter. This is the later, larger volume box with 80mm inlet. £150
Set of 4 Caterham R500 injectors. £180
Deal for throttle bodies plus airbox (i.e. complete induction set-up) = £550
Deal for the whole lot (TBs + airbox + injectors) = £700
This set-up is ready to bolt on. You just need your existing throttle pot and air temperature sensor.

This model here.
Its been on the car for 3 or 4 years but is in good condition with no leaks. Suitable for most cars including K-series which is what I ran it with. Now upgraded to Duratec power so have bought a Radtec.
£120

Ray is a brave man. Gill has a purple belt and is now working on her brown belt - the one after that is Black. 😶🌫️

Passenger footwell end plate remade and fitted today having discovered the one Cateham sent me didn't fit. Hoping the dry sump tank turns up soon but I can fit the engine without it for now.
-
If you don't want a K then at stick a Duratec in there. Not much more work than adapting to fit a Zetec, is close to being as light as a K and has greater tuning potential than either.

I have taped the sender to the side of the tank that needs the boss fitting in it - Pace can check it for me.
Thanks,
Shaun

Anyone know what the normal thread is for Stack temp senders?
Stack sell 1/8 NPTF and 1/8 BSPT although the Caterham online store only shows the 1/8 NPTF.

Thanks everyone.
On thing I didn't think to order was a boss for the temperature sender ☹️
Guess I'll have to use a t piece on the outlet.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. I don't suppose you've got a picture or 2 of your tank/and fittings?
My plan was to fit engine/tank/etc. and then trailer the car over to Think Auto and get them to make up all the hoses I need (they are not far from me). If it's going to be a pain to fit some of the hoses once everything is in place then I guess I need to get the hoses made up beforehand. Do you know what hoses I'll need? Length and fittings?

Thanks - some good ideas there.
Chris - I guess you didn't mean to link to some motorcycle goggles![*tongue*](https://www.caterhamlotus7.club/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
