Ian - I don't know what settings you have applied but I have checked this in Win7/Chrome along with many other browser/OS combinations and it is not a problem. Unless someone else can replicate the issue it will have to remain closed - we can't fix an issue that can't be replicated and affects only one person.
The unable to edit post bug is also resolved - it wasn't a bug at all merely a setting issue. Some people previously had Full HTML posting rights which were subsequently removed and hence they could not edit previous posts that were created with Full HTML. As posted on the bugs forum, I will fix any post found to be in that state.

As requested, here is a list of currently identified issues. It's not exhaustive but I've tried to capture most of the main bugs and requests for additional functionality. Please don't use this thread to discuss issues but if I have missed something then post here with a link to the original thread.
A status of "Open" means there is no work being undertaken at this point. This may be due to other priorities, timing or cost. If it is decided that no further action is to be taken, the status will be "Closed".

Depends which class you enter. Classes 1-6 fall into roadgoing specialist production so FHR recommended only. Class 7 which is non-roadgoing would be modified specialist production and FHR would be mandatory. Your Academy car, if on 1A tyres and unmodified would be class 1.

That question on the Pipercross site is irrelevent to you. I bought mine from Demon Tweeks and they don't ask that question.

I use the standard 9" fan on my 260bhp Duratec so you should be fine with it. I have a Radtec radiator.

This bug is now fixed
-
Yes it looks like we have page numbers back now.
-
Yes I'm seeing the same issue. Strangely it doesn't occur if you aren't logged in. I've reported it to NDP.
-
It's been reported and NDP are working on it.

Great. See my post in Bugs on the same issue with forum posts. You must have created the blog when you had AR rights and this allowed you to use "Full HTML". Now you have a separate AR login, your personal account is not allowed to use "Full HTML", only "Filtered HTML" and this is what prevents you from editing the blog (or forum post).
If you come across any other examples then email websitehelp@lotus7club.com and I'll fix them.
I've reported the CSS/JS issue to our developers so hopefully will get that sorted soon.

Hi Antony - can you try now to edit this blog and let me know the results.
I know it doesn't display properly but that's a separate issue.
Thanks,
Shaun

M4 until it ends then A48 to Carmarthen where you join the A40. Follow the "here be Dragons" signs to the end of the world and then turn right :-). Actually follow the A40 until somewhere around Narberth and then turn right (N). If you follow the signs to Clarbeston you're heading in the right direction and then you will pick up signs to Llys y Fran country park. We normally follow Satnav and end up on some tiny country roads but I don't think that can be avoided. I'm pretty sure we've travelled a diffferent route every time we've gone there!

I had my flywheel skimmed recently. Is it OK? - Yes. Would I recommend it? - depends on the clutch plate. Probably OK with an organic clutch as the plate will bed in. With the ceremetallic paddle clutch I have, it's even more "grabby" than before and unlikely to wear enough to bed in.

I wish it had been a new record for me but sadly not. Last year's record time was 55.57s.

I'll have to check my pulley size (won't have time until next week I'm afraid) but I have the reverse problem in that my alternator spins at 20k rpm at max revs (8500) and the alternator is rated at max 18k. However, I've been assured it's OK and, touch wood, it hasn't blown up yet.
It's typical of high revving engines (I had the same problem on my big K) that the alternator either doesn't charge at low RPM or is beyond stated operating limits at max RPM. I guess you need to decide which end of the spectrum you want to risk

You can't adjust the clutch itself as above, but you can adjust the pedal. There should be a threaded rod into the master cylinder, just like the brake so you can adjust where the pedals sits.

Hi Phil - I've emailed Paul to ask if this was expected or an oversight. I'm pretty sure that last year we ran at Aintree with our normal numbers.

Sadly the video of me hitting the chicane isn't any good due to a misted up camera.

Move the drop link to inside the ARB. This normally does the trick. You may have to grind the end off the nut that secures it to the ARB or use a half height nut.

Hi Philip - drop the entries secretary David Thomas an email (david_thomas at btinternet dot com). Check your spam folder first though as that's where mine ended up. If you still don't get them, PM me your email address and I'll forward them on.

Great stuff - I look forward to seeing the doc

Would one of you please write the solution up into a short document with the wiring diagram. Email to me (shaun dot elwell at lotus7club dot com) and I'll add it to the technical guides section of the site.

Unfortunately, I can't work out how to add smileys so I'm going to have to ask the developers how to do it. I thought I'd worked it out but I can't see the directory where I need to store the files. Once I've got that then I'll get these added.
Not sure downtown is entirely appropriate for a family oriented forum like this

The email address for support with the website is websitehelp@lotus7club.com
It's shown in the first post of the sticky thread "Forum user guide" at the top of Chitchat. Unfortunately, that post had dropped off the radar using the normal 1 month filter as it hasn't been updated for a while. We'll try and keep it easily visible.
Seven deceleration ability anyone know?

On soft compound Kumho V70A I'm pulling peak G of around 1.3 but that is on the edge of lockup and not sustained. Can easily pull a sustained 1.15G. All based on data from Curborough. At Llandow at the end of the start/finish straight, again pulling around 1.3G peak. Braking very hard but for a short time for the chicane there registered a peak reading of 1.65G!!
