  1. "Powder coating - Aylesbury"

    That'll take a lot of powder 😬

I've successfully completed the job using a bolt and sockets. Needed to tighten and then hit bolt with hammer before tightening a little more and repeat - several times.

  2. Ditto.

I had a tow bar fitted to my new VW by local specialists. No separate indicator for tow bar electrics, but on board computer was altered for trailer including disabling parking sensors and automatic parking when trailer attached.

Dash display now shows a trailer drawbar at rear of car when trailer attached - COOL *cool*

  3. Nigel

Connection of pipes shouldn't matter. FYI my water rail is connected to top heater hose as yours. Blatted this week and heater matrix cool but air drawn though heater still feels a little warm as ambient temperature is high.

Just make sure valve is fully off and if still too hot seal heater outlet with gaffer tape, but doubt this will be necessary if heater valve is properly off.

  4. If I'm not mistaken, are revolution nuts not specific to the wheels. In other words, I think they have a long shoulder that fits through the wheel. You may have to obtain from Revolution.
  5. Is it a 20 amp fuse? If so replace with 30 amp. This was a Caterham recommendation from a long time ago. *thumbup*

  6. A tonneau cover was left behind at an event and despite efforts to find it's owner it has been sitting on the ESV unclaimed for some time.

It has therefore been decided to offer it for sale in aid of NTL.

It appears to be for a live axle car (has the holes for the top of the shock absorbers) and is in very good condition.

How does £40 or nearest offer sound. Can be collected at Stoneleigh.
