Live axle car? A frame bush?

"Powder coating - Aylesbury"
That'll take a lot of powder 😬
I've successfully completed the job using a bolt and sockets. Needed to tighten and then hit bolt with hammer before tightening a little more and repeat - several times.

Ditto.
I had a tow bar fitted to my new VW by local specialists. No separate indicator for tow bar electrics, but on board computer was altered for trailer including disabling parking sensors and automatic parking when trailer attached.
Dash display now shows a trailer drawbar at rear of car when trailer attached - COOL

Connection of pipes shouldn't matter. FYI my water rail is connected to top heater hose as yours. Blatted this week and heater matrix cool but air drawn though heater still feels a little warm as ambient temperature is high.
Just make sure valve is fully off and if still too hot seal heater outlet with gaffer tape, but doubt this will be necessary if heater valve is properly off.

Red/Ali???
Are you sure you didn't just see a reflection in a shop window? 😬

What engine?

Fiddly job, but replaceable. Spare bulbs available from Maplins.

I've had to replace my cap a few times - they seem to be very poor. I now carry a spare.I suspect it's the hard driving that has shown up a dodgy cap rather than the modification.
I've modified my cooling system and it's seems to work fine with no problems.

There are some in the Car Buyer Solutions Catalogue. Not sure whether they are big enough. You may be able to make something of the cargo nets with the hooks.
See page 228 :- Cargo Nets

If I'm not mistaken, are revolution nuts not specific to the wheels. In other words, I think they have a long shoulder that fits through the wheel. You may have to obtain from Revolution.

Probably been to the excellent Dunsfold Handling day.

Hot starting click?? Retain original starter and just do the relay mod for a tenner. BM me if you need details.

I think you'll find that even on a metric chassis it is a 1/2 inch UNF bolt with a 3/4 AF nut.
Metric chassis still uses the same size bushes on the A frame etc.

Quoting TBKBABABTIM:
E.G. Doesn't mention using a sleeve in the bottom mounting which can't be right
Assume you are now talking about front shock absorber.
-
Tim I'll give you a ring.

Wall units would be handy for my garage please.

Is it a 20 amp fuse? If so replace with 30 amp. This was a Caterham recommendation from a long time ago.

Quoting Ed W:Slightly off post but can you change the ratio without changing the diff?
No.

A tonneau cover was left behind at an event and despite efforts to find it's owner it has been sitting on the ESV unclaimed for some time.
It has therefore been decided to offer it for sale in aid of NTL.
It appears to be for a live axle car (has the holes for the top of the shock absorbers) and is in very good condition.
How does £40 or nearest offer sound. Can be collected at Stoneleigh.

Thanks guys. Pistonheads advert renewed here
I'm also surprised it hasn't been sold. It is a lovely car with a lot of good bits.
Sorry Phil - no swaps.

If you have the removable diagonals it could be coming from there. Try tightening the bolts and a adding a bit of lube.
