  1. They are standard on CSR of course. There was a kit produced by Freestyle, for the S3 and SV but it is no longer available. Is there another option you are thinking of?
  2. If you want to switch between aero and full screen just leave the wiper mechanism and motor in place and simply remove the arms/blades. Removing wiper motor etc. is a major hassle and involves removal of scuttle.
  3. Spotted in the centre of Paris BRG 7 reg. no. VUG7X. A brave man to drive A 7 with such crazy driving standards around.
  4. Quoting Erngor: I need to replace my tunnel top on my K series (central handbrake type), the mice have chewed the leather away around the handbake and gearlever Do you need to replace it? These are expensive and Oxted can possibly repair at much less cost. give them a ring.
  5. Can you put a jack under the sump and gently lift the engine enough to lift the steel threaded core out of the rubber so that you can grip it with something and then remove the half inch bolt.
  6. Quoting finmac: Need to remove my rear arches for repaint, so need to drill out and re rivet the internal panels. Wondering what size rivets do I need to buy and a recommendation for a decent supplier? Cheers! Why do you need to remove internal panels? It's not necessary to remove rear wings. You will need some for stone guards.
  7. Part of a sheet of stickers available from ESV at £4.50 a sheet.
  8. Sounds like Alec Brisley on his way to in laws in Prestwich and up in this part of the world for our ruby wedding celebration.
  9. Quoting Pendennis: And it has two circuits (front and rear) with two separate inlets via a common reservoir. In theory if you get a failure in one of the circuits the other should offer some braking. A standard master cylinder also has two circuits. I think I'm right in that it is just the cylinder diameter that is different.
  10. Brian James covered trailer for sale £1500. Suit S3, SV or CSR For full details see Pistonheads Advert Edited by - Paul Richards on 7 Aug 2014 20:41:19
  11. Yes please. I'll send you an e-mail tomorrow.
  12. Topped out at 89 x 7s and 1x 21.
  13. I'll be there on Friday then. Matthew - I look forward to receiving your booking form.

    Not good

Quoting timbo: never had anything other than SS I don't think so.
  15. John I don't know the answer, but suggest you have a word with Redline who will give good advice and supply any parts.
  16. Just about to shorten one. Proposing to cut base off, shorten stem and re-weld to base.
  17. Zv3 for spare. Hopefully you may never need it.
  18. Peter The other thing worth checking is that your tracking is central. In other words, do you have more lock on one side or is one wing catching your light more than another? Doesn't look too bad if both lights are just a little bit turned in.
  19. Quoting Wile7: No....the cure is to go clamshell I think I'd rather have wonky lights 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬
  20. Quoting Pete Underhill: Apart from correcting the fouling of the indicators, what noticeable difference would there be in handling between standard and wide track on an S3? Is it a big job and what does it cost? These last two questions seem to crop up frequently for me.[/pQuote Unless you are Lewis Hamilton I doubt you would notice much difference on the road. Cost? New upper and lower wishbones. New anti roll bar. New brake hoses. New rack or extensions to existing one. Search the Caterham on line store for prices.
  21. Quoting Pete Underhill: It's been puzzling me why my front indicator pods seem to turn inward of their own volition. I've not seen cross eyed indicators on any other Seven. Tonight, after replacing a disintegrated pod, I found the inner corner of my cycle wings, even before full lock, is touching the black plastic pod and nudging them inward. Does anyone else have similar experience and, if so, what witchcraft is required. I've already sacrificed the albino goat on a full moon. That didn't work, unfortunately for the goat. They all do that with narrow track. The cure is to go wide track.
  22. Quoting Glasgow: What size are these o rings? any online link please? Thanks Ahmed Hi Ahmed Sorry. I don't know the size. I have a box of O rings in all different sizes and just offered them up used the ones that fit.
  23. 1mm out of round seems very little. A little persuasion should get it right and a very tight jubilee clip. Are you sure it is not coming from the heater matrix. There are 2 O rings inside the inlet/outlet which have a habit of leaking.
