  1. Boss for steering column. To fix momo type wheel to column. See here £20 for NTL plus P&P (£2?).
  2. Yes. I bought it. Collecting in a couple of weeks
  3. Confirm there are separate fuses for each side. Safety feature so that you don't lose all lights.
  4. I asked Shaun about this one at the weekend. It does do other things, but unfortunately I can't quite remember what. I do remember that it was a useful feature which was something along the lines of putting news items from that area into your profile. I'm sure it will all become obvious as we use the site more and the ARs start using the various features.
  5. "Open hyperlink in 'new window' or 'new tab' would be useful so you're not navigated away from the site without a convenient way back." Old Blatchat didn't do that. The choice is yours. If I want to open in a new tab or new window I right click on the link and choose the option.
  6. Yes please. Please drop me an e-mail. My contact details are in the front of Low Flying (ESV Manager)
  7. Hi Paul Very interested. Drop me an e-mail so we can start a dialogue. My e-mail address is in the front of Low Flying (ESV Manager).
  8. As title. Throttle bodies wanted. Jenvey or Caterham roller barrel for the potential upgrades on my 1.8 K. Anybody got any surplus to requirements? My contact details are in the front of Low Flying.
  9. S type seats are the type that would normally be fitted to a car of your age.
  10. Ian Was the one I supplied of no use?
  11. I assume the problem with displaying e-mail address is unwanted spam etc. Not sure whether this would help, but you could include your contact details in the "About Me" section which I think is only visible to members. You could just show for a limited period (e.g. when you have something for sale). Unfortunately it wouldn't allow non members to contact you. Similarly on a post you can include your e-mail in a non e-mail form e.g. john dot smith at hot mail dot co dot uk Happy to be shot down if these are of no use.
  12. I've never done a blog, but I seem to have one with a picture of a car which has nothing to do with me.
  13. Looks like we won't agree. There is the view:- Why should I supply information to a freeloader who doesn't contribute anything to my club.
  14. Nigel Same problem using my IPad.
  15. It does have all it's instruments lit!
  16. Interesting to know that Quaife supplied the fulcrums. Arch do indeed have the jigs to manufacture the wishbones, supports, pushrods etc. Bruce supplied some small replacement parts for me last year.
  17. I understand it simply puts your profile pick on that area page. Unfortunately if you are an AR it puts you in as an Area Administrator even if it's not your area. A bug request has been raised.

  19. Disagree. Some members have advised that they will not be renewing as they can't see the point of paying membership when they can still access Tech Talk as a non member. Fact. As far as attracting new members is concerned, the site has a section on "Guides" which indicate the amount of technical info available to members. Similarly the "Why become a member" section sets out the benefits of membership. Perhaps we should make it even more clear in there that there is a Tech Talk forum available.
  20. I found it a useful facility and was frustrated when users didn't include the info. However, User can show ttheir location and more in the "About Me" section. The info would then be just one click away. We need to encourage users to show this info especially if they are seeking help or looking for a sale.
