I seem to recall that there are washer(s) between the chassis and the alluminium skin. This is to stop the alluminium being deformed when the boss is tightened. I think the number of washers used may depend on the size of the gap as I suspect not all chassis are identical.

When not logged in, (like a non member) the latest forum posts are not shown I.e. It looks like no activity for the last few hours. Is this connected with the problem where "latest post" is also far behind?

Yes. The ESV is at Handcross, but will have no room for wheels.

I will be at the AR meeting and can bring them North if you can arrange for someone to get them there.

Similar to Richard, but I use a couple of lengths of old seatbelt. If you end up with the lifting point midway between the front and rear of the cam cover it will lift the engine and gearbox together at the right angle to remove.

Working fine for me.

Confirm there are separate fuses for each side. Safety feature so that you don't lose all lights.

I asked Shaun about this one at the weekend. It does do other things, but unfortunately I can't quite remember what. I do remember that it was a useful feature which was something along the lines of putting news items from that area into your profile.
I'm sure it will all become obvious as we use the site more and the ARs start using the various features.

"Open hyperlink in 'new window' or 'new tab' would be useful so you're not navigated away from the site without a convenient way back."
Old Blatchat didn't do that. The choice is yours. If I want to open in a new tab or new window I right click on the link and choose the option.
