  1. Charles Ok to re-use bolts with thread lock. As far as removing diff, no experience of CSR, but would have expected it to fall out if you have removed all the bolts. Sounds like you need to use a bigger hammer.
  2. To drill, don't use a brand new drill bit - use one which is a little dull.
  3. Is it to replace a broken windscreen? Insurance claim?
  4. Tom You can fit and remove a steering rack (wide or narrow) in a single garage. Removing radiator may assist to bring out via the front, although you may get away with unbolting the radiator (leaving hoses connected) and "ease" radiator out of the way to allow rack to pass. By the way, BKG have tracking equipment.
  5. Yes. That's the only way to do it.
  6. Tom Why not just buy new the parts you are missing? Must be a cheaper option.
  7. /sites/default/files/images/users/8403/image.jpg
  8. Yes. I have an Apollo and a Laminova on my car. Laminova located in top hose.
  9. 4 ex Academy racers supported by the LADS Busted Knuckle Garage crew took part in the 8 hour Race of Remembrance at Anglesey. Competing as Team Caterham in Class C against a number of professional teams they managed to pull off a win.
  10. I have one of these. http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=989 You don't need to use the x power bit. If it's any use £6 inc p&p.
  11. I seem to recall that there are washer(s) between the chassis and the alluminium skin. This is to stop the alluminium being deformed when the boss is tightened. I think the number of washers used may depend on the size of the gap as I suspect not all chassis are identical.
  12. Can I order just bags? One of each please.
  13. When not logged in, (like a non member) the latest forum posts are not shown I.e. It looks like no activity for the last few hours. Is this connected with the problem where "latest post" is also far behind?
  14. For sale in aid of NTL. See here
  15. Yes. The ESV is at Handcross, but will have no room for wheels.
  16. Tpom I will be at the AR meeting and can bring them North if you can arrange for someone to get them there.
  17. Similar to Richard, but I use a couple of lengths of old seatbelt. If you end up with the lifting point midway between the front and rear of the cam cover it will lift the engine and gearbox together at the right angle to remove.
