  1. Any idea how much postage would be? Alternatively, are you anywhere near Reading? R

    Syphon pump

Yup, I've got one of those. Definitely the dog's whatsits. But as Mark says, it's harder to get a precise measure of how much you've put in. I work off my estimate of the weight change of the Jerry can, but that's not massively accurate. They're slightly cheaper at BookaTrack I bought mine from Merlin Motorsport (at Castle Combe) for about the BaT price. R Edited by - RichardO on 16 Apr 2012 15:06:49
  3. Fraid so. It may have to go on eBay soon .... R
  4. I've got a big box full of old SCSI interfacing gear I found while clearing out my computer cupboard. SCSI I/II/III cables and cards. The most recent interface cards are Adaptec 2940 - three of these (one still boxed) plus a load of other cards. Cables are a rag-bag of internal and external types of various vintage standards. Also included is a SCSI CDRW drive and a few terminators Some of this stuff is enterprise grade and used to cost a fortune - anybody got a legacy system they need to support? Free to anyone collecting it. R
  5. Available again - Alan, are you still interested? R
  6. I'm a little disturbed that the top two for sale items today are a 6' bed and tie down straps 😳 R
  7. My last tow car, finally being retired from backup duty. I've bought a new car, so need the space. Rather old, starship mileage, but all still in working order. Anybody need a cheap runabout? 2.0 litre petrol; SRi model gets you multilink suspension, 14" alloys, electric front windows and bucket (ish) seats. It's still the best handling car of this size that I've driven. Towbar, single electrics on its own fuse. Aftermarket CD radio. You can have the original cassette radio as well if you like. Bit of rust above driver's side front wheelarch, a few bubbles in other places, but pretty good for the year. Hatchback version in electric blue - looks like the one on the left here Recently serviced. Tax and MOT to end of Jan 2013. 4 P6000 tyres with 6mm of tread, and a good (non pirelli) spare. Will throw in the stack of spares I've acquired over the years (various lights, a couple more P6000s (not on rims), mid and front sections of exhaust including cat, alternator, starter motor, spark plugs, trailer number plate), along with a Haynes manual and the official Nissan service manual and parts CD. Remaining tax plus scrap value comes to over £250. Offer me that and it's yours. I really don't want to scrap the car as it's served me well for 14 years and is still in good working order - it's just not up to towing my race trailer any more ☹️ R Edited by - RichardO on 6 Apr 2012 08:25:48 Edited by - RichardO on 6 Apr 2012 08:38:03

    Fog

Nice and sunny here in Rome as well
  9. Matt / Paul: There are usually spare tickets available in the grads coffee area. Usually there's a biscuit tin for you to deposit spares in / take extras from for a donation to the club charity. Mark: Format of the meeting varies according to number of other races and what they are. For something with a headline event (like trucks) we get slotted into the gaps. Trucks meetings have a habit of over running though (takes a while to straighten out the armco after they're done...) R Edited by - RichardO on 14 Feb 2012 07:41:19
  10. Welcome aboard - will probably see you at one or two of those. But I'm in Supers, so shouldn't be getting in your way R
