Hello Jonathan Due to a bad back, (reason for seat change) I have not yet removed the tillets to find what size holes I have in the floor to mount the leather seats. I have found the right sizes of the two different allen headed bolts from a local garage, so all fine now. What I need to know is there any addition load spreading material needed between the runners and floor. Piers

I've just bought some leather seats to replace my tillets. The runners were missing some bolts and there are two sizes. The larger size is I think 10mm and is 20mm long and has an allen key head. Then there are three smaller allen key bolts that hold the seat frame to the runner. These are much smaller. Can anyone confirm the sizes. Thanks in advance. Is there any thing else that has to be fitted between runners and the floor. Piers

I am travelling to Austria in a few months time and I am looking into Winter tyres and wheels, plus wheel nuts for a 2011 Audi A4 Avant 2.00 TDI. Does anyone have a set of four - I only need them for a week, but would be prepared to buy or come to a financial arrangement. I am also interested in Snow Chains just in case the snow is heavy this year. Thanks Piers

18:30 hours on the A2, just before Canterbury. An Orange Seven. I was in the Texeco petrol station when you went past - fast.

Yellow and alloy , just turning of the A2 in to the Lydden Race Circuit at 12:30.

Yellow with blue stripe, with the ROOF UP on the M 20 near Maidstone, at about 20:30 hrs last night. You did'nt spot the LSC sticker on the rear window of my A 6 Avant.

M 25 today, near Caterham and heading for Dartford/M26. Red with orange flame effect on rear wings. Crash helmet on.

I have spent a bit of time this morning looking at this problem and find there is more to it than I first thought. Recently, I had to fit a new alterantor, as I broke the top fixing lug on the old one. The Red light does not come on when the ignition is switched on or the engine switched off. The alternator supplied by Red Line has what looks like an earth terminal. The old (and new) alternator had just the three main connections, so I have refited it in the same way. The battery seems to be fully charged. I did about a 20 mile trip round Canterbury yesterday and I have changed over the plug in fuses with no difference. Any one have any ideas ? Piers

I have an 1985 Supersprint which I have had from new. The indicator lights come on on, but don't flash, when indicating left or right, with or without the engine running. The Hazard lights all flash OK. I've tried fiddleing with the haszard switch - no effect. I have changed the flasher unit. No difference. So I must assume a bad earth. So where do I look, as the hazard lights make the indicators flash OK. Any help gratefully received. Piers
