  1. Hi Nathan, yep that was me enjoying a final (?) blat having just sold my car ☹️ Did you see me or hear me first? I was certainly giving it the beans down the bypass 😬 Phillip White 1400 SS here
  2. How much are you asking for Anthony? I have a colleague who might be interested. Phillip edited to add - Oh yeah, there's the price White 1400 SS here Edited by - ptpt on 10 Jan 2008 14:45:36
  3. I followed you in the white 7 from Great Dunmow to High Ongar. You must be have been a bit chilly - no hemet, no screen and judging by the 'race' look of your 7 - no heater either I suspect 😬 I know I should have been driving with my hood down, but it was chuffy freezing when I left Bury St.Edmunds at 7am! Oh, and It looked like a close call overtaking that silver Zafira as we approached Bacon End Phillip White 1400 SS here
  4. Tigger - do you head over to the Sarth London meets in Clapham Junction then? White 1400 SS here
  5. Yep that was me . Guerilla blat through the city on my way home from a mega blat in Suffolk. Brixton High Street at 6pm on a Sunday Won't be doing that again in a hurry White 1400 SS here

    Half Hood

Cheers for your kind offer Neil . Should nothing comes forward on Blatchat over the next month I'll order a new one from Softbits. I'm determined to use my car throughout the winter and I am convinced a half hood is the only reasonable way of coping with roof up Sevening. I intensely despise driving with full weather gear on and might well flog the dratted pseudo-tent in due course! Phillip White 1400 SS here

    Half Hood

Half hood to fit a standard seven with an FIA rollbar. Quite urgently required, so am willing to pay top money. Can collect London, South-East and East Anglia. Thanks, Phillip White 1400 SS here
  8. I have one - in siver with metallic grey centre. In good condition with just a few marks on the rim from over enthusiastic tyre fitters. Do a search in for the for sale section as I posted an advert about a month ago. Available from London or Bury St.Edmunds Suffolk £40 ono White 1400 SS here
  9. I remember seeing a photo of him in his weird aeroscreen'd SMART Crossblade. Surely it wasn't quick enough to get a decent air flow over his head White 1400 SS here Edited by - ptpt on 24 Sep 2007 21:11:48
  10. Yep, I was doing plenty of that on Sunday with gearbox oil dripping into my eyes and shinning my knuckles on the gearbox casing Circlips really are the work of Beelzebub! White 1400 SS here
  11. I'm having trouble with my speedo/angle drive yoke. My 'Top Hat' had a buckled peak and had worked free of the retaining clip. I've managed to straighten it out but can't for the life of me get the the retaining clip back into the slot. Has anyone got a tip for how to do this? Cheers Edited because I've just read about circlip pliers that should make the job a hell of a lot easier! White 1400 SS here Edited by - ptpt on 24 Sep 2007 17:20:44

I had a great day on my track debut - thanks Geoff and all for such a great job organising it 30 mins of instruction with Dr John just after the rain stopped was...er...testing! I must say having the car squirming about at Corum was the most fun I had all day 80+ laps, 1.5 tanks of petrol and my rear 48Rs are now satisfyingly trashed- jobs a good 'un! 13. Geoff - Will there be any helmets to borrow/hire on Monday and if so how much to MSV charge? Thanks, Phillip White 1400 SS here
  14. Brilliant - cheque is in the post White 1400 SS here
  15. Geoff If I get a cheque in the post tonight, do you think I'll still be able to get a novice place? Bl**dy Dunsfold Handling day - it's infected me with a virulent trackday bug! Cheers, Phillip White 1400 SS here
