  1. I have them on my Mk4 Golf and they are great, and great in the damp/wet, they are the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 apparently the compound can get very sticky and wear quickly in the summer. There mainly designed for saloons & coupe's so not surprised there a little too hard for an Elise, let alone a 7. If you have a heavyweight hatchback or small - mid size saloon (3 series, 5 series) you couldn't go wrong. I think they have BSW versions with slightly thicker sidewalls for heavier cars, so if you get them for a lightish car make sure they are the non-BSW. Review here from a couple of years ago.
  2. Is it still boxed does it come with any accessories ie. falsh card usb cable etc. Did he buy for £1,200 or is £1,200 the asking price?
  3. Please can we have chit chat on & off topic, I keep having to flick through both area's to see if there's anything new which is a pain. Additionally I didn't think that the amount of traffic since we went members only really warranted any further diversification of the areas. Just turn it into the sheds.
  4. Hi Mike, Same position as Rodders. Any pic's & history please. Peter
  5. Cheer Strongy a quick google found this here Lets just hope it doesn't destroy the glass at the same time!
  6. ☹️I stupidily didn't take the lenses out of my Wiley's this morning when gluing the foam back on and managed to flick a couple of specks of glue on to the lenses. To add to my stupidity, rather than wait for the little bits to dry I decided to quickly try and wipe it off, result two F *mad*KED UP lenses, I wouldn't have minded too much if they had been one of the sets of tinted lenses but it's the clear ones and they are needed more now than ever given the low light in the am & pm. Any idea's, if not where do I get new clear lenses? Glass OK Edited by - one day soon on 7 Oct 2005 14:02:08
  7. Spotted by the wife in on the trailer in the car park where she works for SheenGate Publishing, She says your always in and out in the Ferarri and has seen a Maserati too, but it's the first time she's seen the Cat'. Then 1+1=2 and I didn't even need to see the pick she took with the mobile to know who it was. What a wierd and small cyber/real world we live in?
  8. Saw you on our way to Studland on Sunday just before 10am. Over the brow of a hill sedately returning or just setting out on a blat a loverly Blue/silver stripe, waved frantically from our silver Golf but got no response. Was a good morning for it,
  9. Hi Zak, Posted the cheque today. Are you ordering these individually when the cheque clears or waiting until the thread is closed and all the monies are in? Thanks Peter Edited because I read the first post again Edited by - One day soon on 23 May 2005 13:40:03
  10. Jack, Just to say well done for having a go, you've probably gone a lot further than most would dare. As you said learn from your mistakes, get some tutorage from someone local at your area meet. Good luck
  11. Jim, If you are having seconds thoughts about the CSR (definitely available cheaper in the UK without the new dash) I was reading in the EVO magazine that Jez Coates at the Caterham Factory has been put in charge of getting the CSR 200 through the Homogolwhatsit in every country outside the UK. It may be worth contacting Caterham direct to understand what that means for the US market. Rgds ODS
  12. Will the CSR 200 not be available in the US? Although I think you maybe after the more traditional looking 7.
  13. Looking: - here here here It looks as though it's held on with clamps to the roll bar, not sure about the bottom. Quite ingenious, well done slomove.
