  1. I am not familiar with the Stack system but with others you can specify the number of pulses per rev and thus alter the rev reading. Useful when hitting the required revs at noise testing! Cheers NigelJ
  2. Hi there I too have the Pace system and after some consideration I used a VDO gauge with the 2 pole sender. One is for pressure and the other grounds when the pressure is below about 7psi. I have this linked into a lamp on the dash with a permanent 12V + feed. If the belt breaks I guess it gives me a slight edge! Not perfect but........ Cheers NigelJ
  3. VDO make several different pressure senders. The one I used has two connections, one for the gauge (or dash) and the other switches to ground at about 7PSI. I used this to switch on the bright LED which is fitted as standard to my SLR (I think it is normally used as a shift light). The idea is to give me an unmissable warning if the dry sump pump belt fails. So far so good! Cheers NigelJ Edited by - NigelJ on 22 Mar 2007 13:07:16
  4. I've just done mine with the Frosts £20.00 polishing kit - 3 grades of mop and compound. It took about 3 hours and the end result, whilst not perfect, is very acceptable. I used up less than 50% of the compound so I guess the cost was <£10.00. And it was rather satisfying changing a rather manky exhaust into a thing of beauty!!! Cheers NigelJ
  5. sforshaw Thanks for that, I will check it out Cheers NigelJ
  6. Last year I tried to get a new set of bolts for mine and contacted the makers whose name I seem to have lost. They told me that they no longer make any parts for these wheels. Cheers NigelJ
  7. Sorry can't help with a photo but really there is very little on my SLR bulkhead. The ecu sits on the far left horizontally with the MFU below it and the reset switch is vertically behind it. Cheers NigelJ

    Top Wishbones

I had the same problem which was solved by using pleanty of heat (as the threads corrode in the wishbones) and significant torque to the extent of damaging the rod ends. I subsequently had to run a tap through the thread in the wishbones to clean them up. Cheers NigelJ
  9. Thanks Markc. SWMBO is headed that way I I can get lots of brownie points steering her away from the problem area. Cheers NigelJ
  10. Thanks Peter. Awaiting your call. Cheers NigelJ

    K fuel pressure

    1 bar - 14.5 psi ( approx) so 3 bar = 43.5 psi QED Cheers NigelJ
  13. May I suggest that you clean the slime off the arms first. I think it will help the sale! Cheers NigelJ
  14. Any photos available? Cheers NigelJ
