  1. Normally the tank breathes via a tee in the filler pipe so you wouldn't see this on a bare tank.

    Clutches

£150 for 5.5 kg might be more mainstream? No idea what the current one weighs though. Seems bizarre they quote mass rather than rotary moment of inertia for flywheels

    Bigger wheels

I found the big tyres run quite cool, too cool really. Sometimes you'd lose the back end at local roundabouts because the tyres were stone cold. Swapping to 13" wheels loses ride height but makes the car more chuckable and improves the ride. The tyres also become about the half the cost but the small wheels are harder to clean

    Clutches

not sure I want a race clutch Phil, just something biased that way. I don't need extreme performance from a clutch - borne out by the fact that the current clutch has shown almost no problems. It doesn't like it when you give it full beans though, seems to slip somewhat!

    Clutches

Well my engine's out or going to be and I don't plan on the expense of a flywheel but it seemed prudent to replace the clutch whilst it was out. Where does one go to select clutches? Call AP?

    Clutches

200 hp zetec, still running a standard clutch from a Mondeo. What options are there to uprateit perhaps to something lighter without going the full Peter Carmichael? If anyone recalls that post! :)
  8. Plenty around who wil lgive the alcon thumbs up. No issues with mine, don't fit greenstuff though. The bite is poor
  9. I reckon Ammo has some more wild that use hydraulic followers. Everyone I talk to tells me that FZ2002s are pretty mild (I have some) which is slightly depressing. Lots of power available with solid followers but it's expensive to make happen. Give Ammo a call, I'd be interested in the power expectation myself
  10. Just need a fisherman now! thanks Brent. Still not conviced on colour Phil
  11. My local Halfords has a 6 drawer chest which really tempted me including spanners, screwdriver set etc for £250
  12. how is the thing attached? stuck on? My nosecond is being resprayed shortly and I want to remove the badge before i send it ideally, I'm tempted to leave TSK to remove it as I can't see a way to remove it that's not obviously going to damage the badge

    8x13 KN minator

Seems like I mqay as well be looking for a Phoenix. They only do 7" max in case anyone else needs to look. I think you need to go Minilite to get to 8".
  14. Not really wishing to hijack but is a sexier version of the caterham track rod end available anywhere?

  16. What is PPC? I used to like to read DWs column on CCC but it seemed to die as a publication one day and I've not seen anything like it since
