If you've the room you may find that studs from a CVH head fit the XF, not sure but worth a check. It is possible though that they're a little bit too metric.
I've used them on my zetec Ford pt no 1024355

I had the same problem, annoying but not actually an issue once you buy the required amount. Be advised though that you need very little more to get there!
Take the seat out and sit him on the floor, it's likely he'll be fine then. If that works he neeeds a foam seat which frees up lots of room in itself. If not you need to look for other options.
For me it all boils down to which side you want the exhaust on. I also wonder if the duratec will "sound" as tuned at 200 hp as the zetec as I prioritise the sound of an engine once it's putting out the right power. Principle issue for me though is that exhaust and where you want it (assuming funds allow of course)
Has anyone tried fitting one of the under boot venturi's and ducting air from the tunnel to the front of the venturi? Seems likely to create a solution to me.
Don't suppose it's possible to re-sitwe the silencer above the fuel tank inside the rear panel? Then you'd reclaim the original look and maybe have a few more options over running the pipe higher for ground clearance. My apologies but I haven't spent any time considering how you'd get his past the dedion etc. Leaving that to you
Lots of bolts, hmm, looks nice.
Can you get your calipers and discs inside a 13" wheel? I've got Alcon calipers (from James Whiting), do you run the Caterham caliper?
I wouldn't under-estimate their ability to supply you the wrong part especially where dampers are concerned, sorry but I don't thnk I can help much more. Are you able to drive the car to Caterham and demonstrate the problem? No doubt they could resolve it there. Otherwise you'll need someone more au fait with live axles to come on and advise on the merits of spax v bilstein.
Various opinions, whne I asked road and Race they recommedned the Ford oil SAE 90 F-LS Ford part number YS5J M2C119 AA or maybe 1121457 or maybe 104321 that's about all the numbers I can find on the container, from your Ford dealer
ECR: Do you have any more details on the alcon brake disc? Do they attach as standard? I've got alcon calipers with standard discs but I'm interested in the alternatives just speculatively.

Mine does this too. It's worth questioning though - does he have wiring running over the top of the tank? If so it'll be rattling louder than the tank internals and wants tieing down. Thereafter, some of them all do that sir
