  1. On a serious note, well done Ian hate these scumbags having had to deal with some for an elderly neighbour who was fleeced by a drain company. Agree with Peter though, you have got a face for radio.
  2. Can't believe this last post, why would you not have the FIA spec roll bar, I'd ignore that advice. IMHO of course.
  3. SGS 1.25 tonne jack is 12.5kg, MM 1.25 tonne jack is 11.65kg. Not a huge weight difference.
  4. I have a 1.5 tonne SGS one. Seems fine. http://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/trolley-jacks/tja15-aluminium-trolley-jack
  5. Carpet in A Superlight R - are you going soft Gary?
  6. Mark, message replied to. To be clear I am after the undercut Nova gearset, not a reverse box. My car runs an electric reverse. Nick
  7. No response from a club member who originally agreed to sell me one, has anyone else got one they want to sell?
  8. Smart motorways are suposed to be safer.....my ar53 they are!
  9. 16 will probably be fine. With 16" wheels you are going to have stiff sidewalls anyway.
  10. Thanks. Would like the gearset assuming it is intact, can you email me on the address with your details and phone number and I will give you a call. Nick
  11. Interested in engine with Nova box and dry sump fitted. Have emailed but says there is a problem? Please reply to me on here or preferably with money you are after to: nickpaulwestbrook@yahoo.co.uk. Nick

  13. Like Mankee I have the standard NTR1s purchased secondhand and they are great on road and track for me but will look at the Meteor valving when winter comes as they will need a service by then. The thing I noticed most is how quick they react to minor bumps compared to the Bilsteins. Reckon that Quantums will be as good if not better. Nick
  14. Ah sorry just read your second post. 4.25 litres should be fine if you did not empty the oil cooler.
  15. Did you put all 4 litres in? Changed the oil on mine, i.e. Drained dry sump pan and reservoir by detaching bottom hose. Refilled with 4 litres and it is fine. Done Brands GP trackday and oil pressure was good. Should only drop to 15psi on idle when really hot. When I do the oil change I remove the LT leads and crank it for a few minutes before reconnecting and starting. Nick
  16. Normally quite a few on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1311.R1.TR3.TRC1.A0.H0.Xblackbird+engine.TRS0&_nkw=blackbird+engine&_sacat=0
  17. twas fantastic, although the L7C session looked busy. Dave said he may run two sessions next year, would be good if there were fewer cars in two groups. Counted around 45 cars in the queue at one point.
  18. Pretty sure I have one if he does not find one. Nick
