  1. When I asked him he did not seem to favour any sealant in particular. I used some Dow Corning general purpose stuff. Had no problems with leaking. Nick
  2. 2nd dibs on the steering joints please. Nick
  3. Fantastic spec, surprised it has not sold yet If you want to sell those carbon headlights separately I would be interested . BTTT
  4. The cost of painting your car depends on a few things. Are you going to strip it yourself, i.e. remove front suspension, scuttle, rear wings, exhaust or get Tony to do it? Transport it without the front suspension on to Tony's in Erith? I had a dolley made up with castors on to help wheel it around. Is is metallic/pearlesant or a flat colour? Stripes to be added? Put it all back together or get Tony to do it? If you do it all yourself and it is a flat colour then it is really quite cheap, but the other bits make to cost add up. Nick
  5. Interesting thread on the W*******d forum here that an owner has carried out an HID conversion for £40. Nick
  6. You just need two diodes, 1N4001 will do. Attach both the cathodes of the two diodes, marked with a black band to the anode of the LED. Attach the cathode of the LED to earth. The other ends of the diodes attach to each indicator feed LH and RH. There is plenty of info on this if you do a search. Nick
  7. What front brake calipers have you got? I changed from the M16 ones to Hi Spec 4 pots and saved a couple of kilos a side, unsprung weight too Nick
  8. If they are these here then they are sold?

Are you sure it's not Simon Cowell?
  10. According to the website they are £135 each so R500 set would be about £950 for 6.5" fronts and 8.5" rears. Nick
  11. It is only the early MB wheels that are a problem. Many cars race with MB wheels in historic formulas so go ahead and keep looking. Nick
  12. As said surely your first call is to the garage that serviced it not Blatchat Nick

    Goodbye from Me

Thanks Geoff, always enjoyed the club days you have organised and have always been oblivious to the hard work that must go on behind the scenes which shows what a good job you have done . Who's got your nice Hayabusa now 🤔 Nick
  14. Debbie Email sent to your Waitrose address Nick
  15. Colleague of mine has one available. Blatmail me your phone number. Nick
  16. Work colleague of mine has 1 Ticket for Sunday at the Goodwood Revival Available face value £60. Reply here if you want it. Nick
  17. Thanks Jason. You can never have too much carbon 🥰 😬
  18. May be he is a very good driver and does have sensors and timing equipment
  19. I shared a garage at Brands Hatch on the Club trackday that had the RS Performance V6, with 600bhp. The guy who owned the car said that they had a fair bit of trouble dealing with Pectel and were thinking of using another ECU instead. The car sounded awesome, although probably a handful in the wet conditions 😬 Nick
  20. Sorry but when you said carbon I thought you were talking about proper prepreg not the stuff Tillet make for Caterham. It seems to be getting harder to source good prepreg parts now, not sure why? Nick
  21. It is not an issue, it is Sikoflexed on to the bars and is not flexible . The hole point of carbon is it is thin but strong and lightweight. Nick
  22. Begs the question, why don't Caterham supply flexible hoses as standard? £50 makes it a no brainer Nick
  23. Got flexible lines on mine. Available at reasonable cost from Caterham, I.e. about £50 for the three hoses. Nick
