I think so - I use an MV500i in the 7 and it has 3 inputs - LANC, AV, mic I think the 530 is the same. Depends on how you're using it though as you only use the AV socket for a bullet cam, but that feeds both the video and audio into the same input - you can't use the mic socket as well at the same time IIRC. In that case though you'd just plug it in via the bullet cam wiring with an adapter if necessary What are you trying to do? FireBlade pilot and Regalia Manager

I'm thinking about going solid state for speed of transfer (with a tape you have to play it back in real time to load it into the computer for editing) and have exchanged a few emails with a guy from ChaseCam who is also on SELOC. Might have a look around again at Autosport.... Like David though I'd definitely also want a screen added to make sure it was pointing in the right direction! LANC is also very convenient The recording format has very little to do with the noise - that's all about where the mic is positioned. For that reason most of the unwatchable footage that I have seen has been from camcorders rather than bullet cams, using the camcorder's inbuilt mic which is invariably in the airflow. Good point about the numbering - James told me there were 25 but this can't be the last one as seeing it on the EVO stand at the Autosport show while mine was on order is what prompted the last minute addition to my options list of having all the interior panels black powder coated I have no idea what number mine is - I thought around 21 🤔 FireBlade pilot and Regalia Manager
