I have the retention document, and I appear to be the Grantee. I'm assuming the Nominee will be the new owner? What's confusing, is that there is space on the retention document for the name of the nominee, but no space for the nominees address, so if I send it off to the DVLA, how do they know where the nominee lives?? Oz.

Provisionally sold. Just trying to figure out how you actually transfer it to someone else! Anyone have any experience of this? Oz....

Mistake!

You can buy any C7 XXX plate from DVLA (apart from the really clever ones) for £399 all in. So, if you fancy a nice short plate on the front of your car, how about C7 FST for £325 including transfer fee. Oz.....
