Had me going there Mark, when I saw the title I thought you were selling the Minno already Mike
  2. So what tyres is Mr Griff using to such good effect then? Is he on 'orrible 15" wheels? Mike
  3. You can usually park in the car park on the outside of the circuit and wander through the tunnel for nowt. The paddock can get a bit busy (full of race cars/towcars/trailers etc.). Mike
  4. Are you supposed to be giving way at that Junction? Have you noticed the car rapidly approaching from the right 😬 Mike
  5. I junked my charcoal cannister (more weight saved ), ripped out the pipery from the tank to it, and installed a free-standing tank breather valve (TRL7 here) using a bit of pipe from the point on the fuel filler to which the charcoal cannister previously connected. This might be overkill - there's a device attached to the underside of the boot floor which is plumbed in to the charcoal cannister piping which might be some sort of valve? It's made by Pierburg. Mike
  6. In fact it is making more power now than the K's will ever make, and it is still in its infancy It's a bigger engine (FFS 😬). Is it making more power per litre? Not yet, but I'm sure you're working on it and I have no doubt it will. The fuss is that, given time (not very long), it will be making more power for less money. Amen to that The holy grail of 7ing! Mike
  7. Better it in what respect? Bhp per litre? Bhp per kg of engine? Cost? Bling? Rebuild intervals? Noise? Weight? I'm not stirring, just would like to know what he means! Mike
  8. V70As are on a par with Toyo R888 and Yoko A048R - see here. Available in hard/medium and soft compounds. Mike
  9. £115 a corner included the dreaded here. Mike
  10. Paging Heavenly... YHM... Mike
  11. 😬 You wouldn't have thought these would be hard to come by would you?
  12. I'd expect trackday springs to be a bit stiffer than a sprint setup - a lot of sprints tend to be at slower bumpier venues than 'real' tracks. Mike
  13. Doh, yes, I hadn't thought of that... A compulsory field for the Blatmail name might help though. Cheers, Mike
  14. If you're seeing the gauge drop to 1 bar with the engine under load then your engine isn't going to last very long... Mike
  15. Adjusting the rear height affects the way the DD tube 'steers' as the car rolls, and this has a big effect on the handling irrespective of rake. So what you've observed isn't just due to the rake change. Mike
  16. The level of oil in the DS tank won't have any significant effect on oil pressure unless it gets so low that the pickup (at the bottom of the tank) is sucking air. Mike

There's one on EBay here Mike
  18. Caterham sell the 74deg stats. Mike
  19. I may need to go up to Cambridge/Newmarket one day or evening this week, so perhaps could drop off at Sudbury. Mike
  20. The LSD bit is independent of the CWP, so you can obtain the CWP ratio you desire and the LSD unit independently. Mike
  21. Would it be possible for Blatmail email messages to automatically have the Blatchat username of the sender inserted at the top? Quite often I get Blatmail from a real person's name and don't know how to tie it up with the Blatchat user (e.g. someone sends a Blatmail because I'm selling something - I've given first dibs on Blatchat to someone but I have no proof that the Blatmail is from the same person). Just a thought. Mike
  22. OK Jim, very decent of you Heavenly, you're next! Mike
