  1. Same question here Mark - only one form received between Tam and myself. Unless we hear otherwise, we'll just take a copy if that's OK Thanks - Michael.
  2. Yes - I have used this stuff from Frosts here In my case it was restoring worn red to new looking red, but it worked a treat and covered up blemishes beautifully. I have no doubt that it would do the job for you. Regards, Michael.
  3. My expeirence was excellent. A small outfit who do an excellent job. Don't expect a flash web-site and marketing experience - just a couple of excellent engineers doing a great job. Michael.

The Omex Sequential here is a popular choice. Very easy to install and set-up. Regards - Michael.
  5. Another for the Omex. Easy to set up and use cheap(ish), good and bright and can easily be re-configured with a couple of button presses. Regards, Michael.
  6. Just trying to help a friend keep afloat financially, whose Elise keeps trying to drown him 😳 Michael.
  7. Any interest? This auction is for a set of 16 solid followers and shims from a Lotus 340R. They have covered 12,000 miles. I have carefully noted which follower came with which shim, which cam and lobe it related to, in case you wish to use them with the cams they came from – though I suspect you’d still need to work on the clearances. here ---- This auction is for a pair of VHPD cams, taken from a Lotus 340R. The cams have covered 12,000 miles. To give an indication of their performance: Properly timed, in a VHPD engine, these cams produce around 190BHP. While I have labelled them IN and EX, I suspect they are identical. here ----- This auction is for a pair of VHPD upgrade pulleys. These pulleys enable you to re-time the cams on a standard VHPD engine, and upgrade it from 177bhp to 190bhp. They were originally fitted to a Lotus 340R and have covered a maximum12,000 miles here ----- This auction is for a light weight flywheel from a Lotus 340R. It has covered 12,000 miles and weighs 4.3 Kg here ---- This auction is for an AP Racing clutch from a Lotus 340R. It has covered a maximum of 12,000 miles. here ---- This auction is for a VHPD coil from a Lotus 340R. It has covered a maximum of 12,000 miles. here

Looked like you were having fun on the way down to the M3 this morning! Wish I'd been in mine! Michael.
  9. If you call Valvoline, they will tell you their local stockists. Regards - Michael.
  10. Mike - if you go for new ratios in a 5 speed box (I did last year with BGH) then you can always change the bellhousing for an Ali one. Probably the cheapest weight saving per £ you can do. I got mine from Raceline. If weight saving is really a concern, you can also change the gearbox maincase to ali - either from Quaife, or I believe that BGH may now do their own Regards - Michael.
  11. Is there nothing that a man can get away with these days Good to see you Mark - and BTW, nice car! Regards - MC
  12. Great - hope to see you there ;-) Michael.
  13. Anyone else camping between the trackday & sprint? I understand that there is a campsite next to the circuit. Anything I need to know? Regards - Michael.
  14. Great Thanks for the clarification Michael.
  15. Looks like Tam and I will be taking a last minute place for the Llandow sprint nest week. This will be the first "non club" event that we have done. Is there anything different in the regs to be concerned about on a Welsh Counties CC event? For example, are aeroscreens OK? Soory if this is a basic question, but with only a couple of days to go, and no joining instructions yet obviously, I would appreciate your advice. Thanks - Michael.
  16. Shaun, Could you use a Dremel to shape out a hole of the appropriate size and depth? Otherwise, a rivnut seems like a good idea? Michael.
  17. Omex Sequential is the other obvious option. Smaller, cheaper, not quite so may bells and whistles but a great piece of kit. Michael.
  18. Have you made sure that the end of the cable is well greased so that it can pivot OK where it is connected to the pedal? Otherwise, the cable gets bent each time you press it, rather than pivoting as should hapen. I had exactly this problem a couple of years ago and the cable broke exactly as you describe. Since then, I put a dab of grease on once every 6 months and it has not happened since. All the best, Michael. Edited by - Mcalvert on 11 Jun 2005 09:48:03

  20. H5 URF? Tam has taken her to some Lawyer fest 😳 Uup North Reward offered for safe return (of Tam & Seven ) Michael.
  21. Shaun - I've got plenty so pop around if you need some, Regards - Michael.
  22. I suspect it was these guys here here If so, I admired the catch tank too... Michael.
  23. If you are anything like me, this will not be the last popper that you break. I suggest ordering the tool from Caterham (£6 ish?) and a few spares. It'll be worth it in the long run. Michael.
