  1. This Month: From Seeking A Seven To A Sevening Season • 40+ Year Love Affairs • Towing A Caterham With An EV • Speed Date • Driving The ‘Green Hell’ — Hopefully… • “Save Your Money For A Red Sports Car!” • Can You Camp In A Seven In Autumn? • And Much More Lowflying is currently with the printers and will be dispatched towards members around 8th December.
  2. Just for the record, the chassis stamp on slightly later Arch chassis is also on the rear suspension mount but in a different format. This is my car (not very clear as has been repainted) but it says AM90 at the top (Arch Motors 1990) and J2 on the side for Jig 2 (they have/had 2 different chassis jigs, no doubt with slightly different tolerances, so this is to make sure the chassis goes back on the right one if it's ever back for repairs).
  3. This Month: Castle Combe Autumn Classic • Introduction to Sprinting Day • Seven People: Simon Rogers • Small Three Pot Meets Big Three Pot • Super Seven Saturday • Docking All Over The World • The Tetbury Tours • Goodwood Revival 2023 • Speed Championship Reports • And Much More Lowflying is currently with the printers and will be dispatched towards members around 8th November.
  4. I have heard (indirectly but from an authoritative source) linked to the MSUK sprint and hillclimb sub-committee that is that It is unlikely there will be an extension to the SA2010, but that if your helmet is to FIA 8860-2010 as well then it continues to be valid. They are separate standard, a helmet can be both, and many apparently are. Not sure how many people that may help?
  5. This Month: Caterham Cars 50th Festival • Behind The Orange Army • Back-On-Track At Anglesey • Alternative Things To Do In Sorn Season… • London Concours Scores Again • “It’s Good To Talk” • Two Men And A Seven • Club Speed Championship Update • And Much More

    Awards lunch

Great to see everyone on Saturday and congratulations to all those who took home silverware! I've uploaded a few photos of the awards being presented by Troy from series sponsor Northampton Motorsport here.
  7. From the album: 2023 End-of-season awards lunch

Charlie Wilson receives the 2023 Club Speed Championship award
  8. I need some photos from Blyton and Anglesey for the LF reports if anyone has some please: lowflying@caterhamlotus7.club I currently have a couple from Anglesey (thanks Maggie!) but none at all from Blyton. All submissions welcomed! Michael.
  9. I have a similar 1700 Crossflow (244 cam on twin Webers and electronic ignition). I have a (fantastic but now rather aged) Raceco silencer that the talented Mike Riley made for me which gets the static noise down to around 95/96db, so have never had any noise problems on track.
