Does anyone know if there is a regulation in the blue book about tyres exceeding the width covered by the front wings? I am struggling to find time to get my wingstays shortened before Goodwood and would rather not fit my new wider wings until this has been done...
Am struggling to find any reference to this in the B.B.
Thanks - Michael

Chris - look forward to seeing you at Goodwood.
For what it is worth, the following is my list of "things to take" - however, being Drowned Rat Racing, we are normally the ones borrowing some of the "nice to haves" like footpumps etc (cheers guys!). With your tow car, you have none of these limitations! No doubt others can add to this list?

I had the same problem a number of years back. I bought a motor from Caterham for quite a lot of money. A couple of weeks later I found exactly the same for less than half the price on a stall at Stoneleigh kit car show.
The solution - remove the heater...

Go on Mr Angry - let it all out.

Woohoo - Car is back on the road after a "mini" winter strip down that ended up taking rather lomger than expected (don't all "quick" jobs).

Stripped and re powder coated by Arch last year - so excellent condition.
Looking for £160 compared to £281 at Caterham.
For collection from Berkshire or Hampshire or would consider packaging and shipping at cost.

Wing stay problems

I've been making a real meal of getting my wingstays cut down, ready for the first club sprint at Goodwood.
Ready for my wider front wheels, I have some new RIF wings to fit, and have had my old standard wingstays cut down to hug the tyres better. However a trial fitting this morning shows the vertical part of the wingstay now touches the inside of the tyres![*eek*](https://www.caterhamlotus7.club/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
My only thought is to try to bend the upright more vertical, then bend the tops back to horizontal. However, as there are already welds where the stays were cut down, I would appreciate any advice about my chances of success without heating them. Any thoughts welcomed...
Michael.
