one of my lasts posts :( have a look at an early narrow body westfield independant setup (up to about 92ish). westfield made there own casing for the english diff which is really small and light (ali casting). if you can get hold of one of these then that would save a lot of space and mean you can use your existing diff. chassis mods for this diff should be relatively minor. i also think you will be able to use existing fuel tank. email me and i might be able to get some photos. alternatively ask on the wscc boardroom. i know v7 looked into this, but i think he ruled it out 🤔 hth (for now)

i recently went to an industrial hose supplier for mine. rated to 200bar! and cost 50 quid for the entire set-up.

cooling water plumbing is an issue with the Vx. have a read of sbd's website. if your not running a heater the easiest thing to do is plug the back of the head where the water would normally feed to a heater. if its not running a heater the water pump pumps throught the head and can pressurise the header tank, expecially at high revs. i spent a couple of years with lovely (wet) warm feet until i plugged the back of the head.

can recomend the qed one cant remeber how much i paid for it, bout 100 quid. good for road use but does take some of the weight out of the system
