Trouble is with so many engines to choose from in the garage - I just can't decide which one to use on Sunday Not sure the heavy Vx lump will be as good at Curb, so just go for the usual 😬 There are some stirrers out there!! Mike

Yup - really great day 😬 Malcolm really warmed things up with his 2nd practice time and I knew I had to push a lot more to Triangle - but stay on the track at the top!! Tried too hard on the 2nd timed run and nearly threw it off several time, including trying to do a reply of Richard's incident by trying too hard out of Fallow Impressive times for those in their new cars - but you just can't beat having that R300 power Mike

I hope our technical scrutineer checks and certifies that it has got 15bhp less that the xflow - we wouldn't want any repeats of the unfounded and malicious accusations that have been going round the paddock recently 😔 Really glad it has lived up to your expectations so far - as long as theTP is happy soon as well! 😬 Mike

And another thing - I don't remember our Competiton Secretary mentioning that K7 SLT was more like an R300 when he drove it - although I have to say that when he passed me when I was in the tintop on the IoM it did seem to be going rather fast 😔 Anyway I will just have to challenge that Mr Snoate to a duel as he had impuned my reputation - if only we can find him..... Errmm...... What can I say 😬 😬 The possible explanations are: -The previous owner was trying to big up his car and mistaken referred to it as an R300 - He has obviously mistaken the identity - I changed it back to standard Superlight spec after I bought it. Any of those sound plausible? And after I was so careful to back off as I went through all those speedtraps!! Can't believe it Anyway - thanks for digging this up MARK!! And they cal Mr Angry a troublemaker!! Mike
