Following hot on the heels of Mav's TD, if anybody is interested there is a trackday for Lotus enthusiasts, which is open to L7C:
Track day at Anglesey on Saturday 22nd April for Lotus enthusiasts
We’re trying to encourage novices and ladies but all levels welcome!
Aiming to have all lady/all Lotus sessions, depending on bookings
Proposed Format: 3 x 20-minute sessions per hour, six hours track time: 10am-1pm, 2-5pm
Sign-in from 8.45am
Briefing at 9.30am
Featuring Dave Minter, who was the Chief Development Engineer on the original Elise project
Dave is a qualified ARDS instructor available for one-on-one driving instruction at £20 per half-hour session
Lotus Cars will supply an Exige with "half-sticky" tyres for Dave to demonstrate driving techniques
Two additional senior ARDS instructors available
Helmets available for drivers and passengers
Buffet lunch and light refreshments
Fun awards

An Elise available for self-drive hire at £85 per session
Passenger hot laps in an Elise for £30
Informal social evening at a local hostelry where you can pick Dave’s brain about his many years at Lotus, his involvement in various Lotus models, the Elise concept, car control etc.
