  1. You have a PM about the diff.
  2. I've heard cling film can protect a 7, and might be on offer again in Salisbury Sainsburys
  3. I've used the Rally Design ones mentioned above. They only require a minimum of turning to get them to fit (also found slight variation in the size of the nut sleeve so some will fit unmodified). I've never had any issues with corrosion. Malcolm
  4. Justin, not directly answering your question, but if you are successful in getting a garage, please add myself and Sam (shared car), thanks. Malcolm Edit #5 Philip, this is for rounds 15 and 16 on the weekend 2/3rd October.
  5. Just dragged mine out from under the work bench where it's resided for several years. Luckily I bought a set of O rings when OBNS was selling them. Hopefully, I can get it apart and fixed. Malcolm
  6. Buy plastic gasket scraper; I prefer to avoid metal blades on aluminium flanges, as they are easily damaged. You'll find carb cleaner will dissolve both RTV and anaerobic flange sealants, prior to scraping. Malcolm
  7. Graham, you have a forum message.
  8. Thanks, Graham, that's very helpful. I'll email you in the next day or so with the details. Malcolm
  9. I'm looking for a competitor at the May Curborough event, who lives in the Bedford area, willing to pick up a K scavenge pump from another club member and bring along on the day for me, please? Thanks Malcolm
  10. "If I'm honest the new rear skin isn't quite as nicely fitted as the original" My 1994 car is on its 3rd set of front panel skins (all replaced at Arch) and the fit of the current set is no where as good as the first set, but significantly better than the second set. Quite a lot of variation, but done by hand, so I suppose to be expected. Malcolm
  11. Found the last one, now also need to suit a K series dry sump system - oil supply sleeve part 75682 see: https://caterhamparts.co.uk/dry-sump/3121-sleeve-oil-supply-dry-sump-rover.html In addition - is anyone able to measure/identify the two associated Vitron O rings, please. Thanks Malcolm
  12. Wanted- Gold scavenge pump to suit Rover K dry sump system. Malcolm
  13. Ok thanks, Simon. Also I've just been told that that the VVC was never specified with a dry sump, so that explains why CC didn't supply a specific one.
  14. CC tell me that they only ever supplied this engine mount in their dry sump kit for all Rover engines https://caterhamparts.co.uk/engine-mounts/1487-engine-mounting-bracket-rh-rover-dry-sump.html?search_query=Rover+dry+sump&results=293 The VVC non dry sump RHS engine mount is modified to allow for a taller engine. Will the 'one size fits all' in the link above suit a VVC dry sump installation, or require modification to the height? Thanks Malcolm
  15. #10 Ian, It's not so bad when you consider what CC paid Titan for the sumps!
  16. Air box on eBay, older type, without any of the fixings. NTDWM. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DVA-Caterham-Air-Box/193857720912?hash=item2d22d21250%3Ag%3A3JIAAOSwwe5gCKC7&LH_Auction=1
  17. I ditched my Quaife ATB as it was no better than an open diff with the unweighted inside wheel spinning on tight corners.
  18. I have one Caterham sized storage space available for this winter, if anyone is interested (notwithstanding bringing a car into Wales between 23rd October - 9th November is restricted by Covid rules). I can help with collection in a covered trailer, if needed. Malcolm
  19. Just pulled the invoice - my Titan LSD is an early one fitted by R+R in 2009 into a Ford diff. The car has done 8k miles since with many hills an sprints. Relative low power and torque (Supersport) throughout. About 2 oil changes in that time. Preload yesterday is 22 ft lb. Malcolm
  20. Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you were referring to the branded CC 6 pointer (I missed the link in your first post) Malcolm
  21. I know this is not what you're asking for, but IMO the Caterham branded Luke 6 point doesn't fit a HANS at all well (shoulder straps are too wide). I ditched mine for a Caterham supplied Schroth 6 point with narrow shoulder straps, which is a much better fit with HANS. Malcolm
