  5. Congratulations to Mike Sankey for his class win (2b Roadgoing Specialist Production 1700 cc and over) with 61.54 secs at Loton today. Also a special big thanks to Mike for kindly (bravely, considering my difficulty at Fallow yesterday) allowing me to share a drive in his car and to achieve a third place after my car went u/s this morning. The most alarming moment was a major underbonnet fuel leak after my final run which sent me running for cover at the top paddock!! All quickly diagnosed and fixed by Simon and Mark. A great day, roll on Harewood Malcolm
  6. Rich I paid circa £250 for an 1800 complete bottom end with 2k miles Malcolm
  7. Jack Flash: What utter b@lls. *smile*When your Twincam needs a rebuild ☹️, do let us know how much it costs you and I'll let you know what my K cost to rebuild . And I love Twincams. Malcolm
  8. No confirmation received yet....I expect PO problems ☹️ Malcolm
  9. From the Shenstone website: Please note that from Monday 9th July for 12 weeks, the road from the A38 to Curborough will be CLOSED. We suggest you approach from the A515 Lichfield to Kings Bromley road.
  10. UF: The design was for a 1.1/1.4 town/city car with low emissions and a rapid warm up. My understanding is that an inlet situated thermostat better serves that purpose than the traditional outlet thermostat.
  11. Try Rimmer Bros here part no GHK1021, may be cheaper.
  12. 2 whole days at Loton 😬 😬 Malcolm

  15. Mark As discussed with yourself and Phil Gough, please add my name and I will confirm whether Judith wants to enter this evening. I (we) will be entering the Pug 205 GTI, in the appropriate class Malcolm
  16. Bruce You're correct ...edited to say for a supersport Malcolm Edited by - Englishmaninwales on 4 Jul 2007 20:06:43
  17. Yep, the alternator cover needs to come off on a 1400. That is not a problem as Ive run like that for 3 years. With a bit of fiddling, the apollo is a straight forward fitting to a 1400. The other little mod is to grind a Vee in the top of the alternator adjusting bracket so the hoses have a better run and not in contact with the bracket. Malcolm
  18. What an excellent days sport! The trailer park was almost as much fun!! Congrats to Rob Dan and Richard for taking the prizes. The only damage was scraping the rear wing on one of those festering posts inthe paddock *mad*
  19. Set of Prisoners on eBay here Malcolm
  20. But I thought steroids were on the MSA banned list 😳
  21. Well done to all the class winners, and great to hear about those very competitive ladies *thumbup*. Special congrats to Mike for ANOTHER class win 😬 Malcolm
  22. Well? Did the Class 2 oldies pick any prizes again? Malcolm
