  1. Well done to Al for 2 wins and a class record 😶‍🌫️ Class 1 is really starting to get hot! Malcolm
  2. As stated above the instruction and video is helpful. I would not recommend sharing the car as you still pay a full fee but get far fewer runs at the hill. So, girls, make sure your men go on a different day (after you, of course 😬) Malcolm
  3. Chris Ezeup is expensive but well worth the money. Strong and lightweight, with a bespoke sandbag for each corner. I wasted money on two cheap pop ups (B+Q) and they ended up in a crumpled heap in the mildest of breeze 😳 Malcolm
  4. Did you know there is a power limit for 1800cc of 140 bhp?
  5. I did that, and as ECR says, understeers like mad!
  6. I can send you the Excel file if you want?
  7. Darren Im updating all these for Rob, just a question of finding time....... malcolm
  8. Best thing I ever did was to sell my horsebox and replace with a trailer for my Caterham 😬(Horses still around, though ☹️)
  9. Nick You must be joking...me ....in a tent???? Mind, I'd better try and find somewhere, otherwise I might have to!
  10. Stradey Park, how close to the circuit ?
  11. 5 rims in good condition and straight, all fitted with stunners 195 45 15. 4 tyres were new last season and have done 10 sprints and hillclimbs and about 1k road miles, so plenty of tread. The 5th tyre is 2 years old and road legal. Ford PCD. Complete with centre caps and 2 keys Good improvement for Class 1 or 2 cars, previous back to back testing against B'stone Potenzas, worth about 0.5-1.0 secs at Curborough. £250 I can deliver locally N Wales/Cheshire/Merseyside/Salop, or bring to a sprint venue. Malcolm
  12. Plus a late entry from me! (spoke to Alun Morgan yesterday) Malcolm
  13. Clive The bolts are reuseable provided they have not stretched beyond serviceable length. I'them ll dig out my Rover manual for the max length. If you do replace make sure they are OE. Malcolm
  14. Mr Sankey... for the reckless way he tackled Paddock on his first run of the day. Of course, I didn't leave the blackstuff
  15. Les They can come back to N Wales if that is any help? Malcolm
  16. Bruno Where abouts on the engine? A poorly sealed coolant outlet (if fixing bolts are too long) can look like a leak from the head/block joint. The coolant runs down to the joint and then along the engine to the front lefthand side. Malcolm
  17. Micheal Sorry to hear about the damage Judith is driving with me at Curbugger, but you're welcome at MIRA if you're car isn't fixed in time. Malcolm
  18. Hope you enjoyed your trip home through Mid Wales. Malcolm
  19. Do any of the overnight campers know what time they open the gates on Sunday morning? ( not that Im planning to camp, *eek*just Im going to be there nice and early )
