  1. CLASS 9.2: 50 Malcom Hickey B16 Caterham 7 1800 F L7CGB 950 Judith Hickey B16 Caterham 7 1800 F L7CGB A later version rec'd yesterday corrects this and puts us in 9.3 with numbers 957/57
  2. Chris, We've not had any finals either, so YHM [:) Thanks
  3. Well done to Class3 last Saturday, for great competition and banter, especially to Mr Price for his outrageous time I spent Sunday trying to get nearer to Richard's time, but was unable to even beat my own PB of 57.44sec from Saturday being 0.1 sec slower. At least I got myTriangle split down to a best ever 22.27sec (still too slow!). The day started badly, though, overdriving the car and having an unpleasant moment at museum in P1 T2 was not much better either, but at least no damage with a spin at Hall ☹️ HoHum. See you all at Curbs
  4. It's Liverpool. You'll get your tent nicked.
  5. Rob You've obviously not managed to get beyond the paddock or Triangle corner . Actually some excellent spectating/photography to be had virtually the whole way up the hill. Malcolm
  6. They seem to be relaxed about front numbers.. Ive run at several events there this year without them and nobody has moaned..
  7. The regs say the gates close at 11pm, but I don't know if it enforced
  8. This is almost certainly due to an airlock. In my experience the early 1400 engines are exceptionally difficult to fill, due to the different closed deck block/liner construction, compared to the later 1400/1600/1800. With my 1400 supersport I gave up and fitted a remote thermostat, and thereafter refilling was never a problem.
  9. Paul, when I did this I made 2 perspex templates off the old side skins (before removal), using the A frame and radius rod fixings as datums. They are in storage but I can get them out and make a paper tracing for you. I can do this on Tuesday and send to you. Malcolm
  10. Be quick the closing date is the 17th.
  11. Still for sale. Open to offers! It is a 1992 not 1991 car!
  12. And check your engine mounts...
  13. The AVOs are available in 4 different rod end lengths for dedion, measured from the centre of the eye to the bottom of the shoulder: 32mm 46mm 53mm and 60mm. The 32mm is the correct length for narrow track dedion. If you use the 32mm rod ends for wide track you will have insufficient damper length on full droop and on full bump the lower wishbone may hit the side skin. When I changed to widetrack I went from 32 to 53mm rod ends. You will need to check the overall length as you are starting from classic suspension setup.
  14. CC currently out of stock, where else can I get one and part number?
