  1. Hi Steve. Well that's a bit if a bombshell. I hope all is well with you and that you have a great post 7 (would that be 8?) life. Most of all thanks for all your help and enthusiasm over the years, it has been really appreciated. As you say we all move on but so far I've managed to hang on to the 7. Don't forget you are always welcome to visit us down here, best roads in the country - I'm sure we can organise a "guest drive" for you Still no internet at the new house hence the paucity of communications! Keith
  2. Cheers Geoff. Got the form safe & sound. Will get it back to you shortly. Keith C4TTT
  3. Hi Geoff, Could you put me down for a place on te Cadwell day - 13th September please. Have got sufficient Brownie points now 😬 Cheque will be in the post tomorrow. Er sorry to be dim but it is getting late. Where can I get the entry form from?? Oops I should have read earlier posts! I guess you'll email me a form & I return it with cheque. Sorry! 4. Hi all, Somwhow, I just lost all of my reply!!! Anyway, here we go again, I might be interested but need to review cost due to a number of large 7 related outlays this year . To top it all, the cylinder head gasket has blown & currently with Redline - collecting Tuesday. So even more cost. ☹️ However, it does need a replacement silencer so I could do with a sensible priced alternative. I don't need a catalyst - just a good silencer to fit my existing 4 into one pipes. Pix would be good though. When do you need a commitment by? Thanks Keith C4TTT
  5. Hi Geoff, Guess I'll have to be patient for another year now! 😶‍🌫️ As it happens, it is probably for the best as my wife has been quite ill recently and remains so. ☹️ I would prefer not to leave her over the weekend, so perhaps you could cross me off the list anyway ? - just in case there are last minute cancellations - I would hate to stop someone else having a great day!!!! Thanks for all your hard work on our behalf & I look forward to the next one Keith C4TTT
  6. Hi Geoff, Great idea but just too far for me to come for an evening Just wished I lived closer. Hope you get enough takers though! Keith C4TTT
  7. Brilliant and many thanks Geoff. I've got all my fingers & toes crossed now Keith C4TTT
  8. Hi Geoff, If 've missed the boat , please could you put me on the reserve list? Thanks, keith C4TTT
  9. Oh Bother! Well I didn't actually say that as SWMBO will confirm Fully booked by 20th !!!!!!!!!!! I only got my LF on 19th & posted application on 20th thinking that I was ahead of the game and bound to get a place this year. (Had to pass on this awesome track for the last few years ) Been watching the Club Trackdays Forum since December, so anyway am I the only one who couldn't get this thread to appear until today?? It says it was posted at the end of January but today is the first time there has been any entries under Club Track Days 🤔 🤔 Really, really, really disappointed if all the places have already gone Keith C4TTT
  10. Hi all, This was a thread a while ago. I experimented ages ago & reached same view about increasing the angle of deflection. A couple of pieces of angled alloy between the perspex of the delector & the hinge allows you to slip this down against the windscreen upright & keep the deflector further out. Still get some wind buffeting but much reduced when you have to run with w/s & no doors. 😬 Keith C4TTT
  11. Sorted 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 Got a pukka gasket from Redline & no smellie when wellie 😶‍🌫️ Thanks all, see you at the International tomorrow Keith C4TTT
  12. Thanks Brent. I'm ahead of you this time 😬 Already spoken to Mick & I'm heading off now! Might not be the 7 but I've pinched the wifes cabriolet so at leaast get some sun there & back Thanks again. Keith C4TTT
  13. Even more Bizarre now I am truly confused Just been to Halfrauds & their Hylomar Blue says it IS to be used in all fuel applications !!!!!!! However, also been told that most inadvisable to use cut up inner tubes so I guess I either try to repair / use what I have or leg it to CC for te pukka article. Ho Hum. Thanks all. Keith C4TTT
  14. Bizarre! Anyway. Now taken the sender plate off & removed what's left of the gasket Definately perished rather than overtightened. If anything the bolts were on the loose side. Not sure that there's enough of it left to gunge up! Anyone know if tyre inner tubes are fuel resistant? Can I just cut up one of them to get me to Dartford?? 15. Hi all, Just been down to te local motor parts place & Hylomar Blue says DO NOT USE WHEN EXPOSED TO FUEL Anyway, I'm off to se if I can do a fix on it & collect the pukka thing from CC. Keith C4TTT
