Thanks for the suggestions.
They are too loose without the crinkle washers.
The anchor plates are 3.98mm thick. Does anyone know a source for the top hat washers so that I can try and find some with a longer thin bit?
Thanks
Jonathan
Thanks Nick, and others.
Question to answer in 6 minutes!
That's how I have them but the step on the washers isn't deep enough for the plates on my new harness. More soon...

What's the correct way to assemble the plain, crinkle and shoulder washers and anchor plate on the bolt so that the plate can swivel freely?
Thanks

Yes. Members of my family have had the problem with an Eos and an S-type. On both of those it's officially a dealer job!
On the Eos we did it but it was very awkward. On the Jag we ended up shining the lights on the garage door and applying sticky tape on the outside.
Does anyone have any insight into why these aren't designed to be easy to switch?

I've just read the cam belt thread and obviously need to change mine. 1.8 K in South Oxfordshire. I don't think I'll do this myself, Can anyone recommend a mechanic nearby?
Thanks

I need to replace my passenger harness because of a frayed strap. 4 point for road use and occasional trackdays. I'd like the waist straps to tighten by pulling away from the buckle instead of up from the fixture.
Any suggestions about suppliers and options?
Thanks
Jonathan
Last year I bought a set from Classic Silicone Hoses and was very pleased with the quality and helpfulness.

I have factory supplied 4 point yellow seat belts. One of the shoulder straps is frayed.
Does anyone know a supplier of single straps, or someone who could make a new one with my fittings?
Thanks
Jonathan
