  1. I think I've fixed the photos a page back. Please could someone tell me if they can now see all 5. Thanks Jonathan
  2. John: No commitment at this time. Once I know rough numbers I'll come back with exact prices. There won't be any more from me about where to fit them, but there are some comments and photos in this and previous threads. Jonathan
  3. Agree about showing your own posts. Understand about the priorities, Shaun, thanks. Jonathan
  4. I'm home. Please could anyone who wants one send me a private mail with the age and model of 7 and an email address. Jonathan
  5. Thanks. Is that a change from the previous behaviour? I'm not in favour. What do others think? Jonathan
  6. Thanks. Is that an official Club answer? Jonathan
  7. Thanks. You're right about eBay UK. But haven't there been threads bemoaning the unavailability of old Nitromors? Now found a couple, and see you've pointed this out already. Jonathan
  8. POR Paint stripper appears to be 80% dichloromethane. That was the active ingredient in old Nitromors. Is it available for domestic retail in the UK? If it is dichloromethane please follow the safety recommendations. Jonathan
  9. Identify both threads using known nuts and bolts, a printable thread gauge, or this app. Don't use brute force until you know. Jonathan
  10. I think the full content of ChitChat is now being crawled and indexed on Google. Is that intentional? Thanks Jonathan
  11. I can send one when I get home on Thursday. Jonathan
  12. Electric drive, a motor in each wheel and software control of power... I wish I'd thought of that. Jonathan
  13. No. AFAIK there are separate* L and R side fuses but each feeds both a front sidelight and a tail light. Check the bulbs, Then check the feed voltage and earth at the bulbholders. Jonathan * As I recently learned!
  14. On the MFRU: I don't know what the relay is like on 7s with Sigma or Duratec engines. I don't know about the comparative failure rate... and it woud be hard to work it out. Have there been any failures on post-K cars?Sorry Jonathan
  15. i'd like: Another tab for "All". Then make the layout of the returned page the same as the other page you get to by direct navigation to that forum. My own posts to appear in all views. An explanation of the definition of "New and Updated" and "Active".Jonathan
  16. Does anyone else see the North Kent meeting topic (posted very early this morning) in New & Updated? Yes, from 0230. Jonathan
  17. Yes. I can see two opportunities from this: There's a lot of information in those links that we need in technical Guides and wikis. I wonder if it's possible to increase the access rights for authors so that they can see the strings in other members' posts. It might be possible using a string editor or macro or built-in function to restore the orginal links across the whole site.Jonathan
  18. Agreed. I included that in one of my lists: all forum navigation controls should be at both and the top and bottom, be the same in both places, and as similar as possible across pages. Jonathan
  19. I'm only seeing the bottom two, and the broken image icons for the top three. Me too. I thought this was OK just after I'd uploaded the photos. I'll try and fix this but it will have to wait till I'm back on a decent network. Jonathan
  20. Do you have any pictures of the black tool roll un wrapped? How many photos can you see? Thanks Jonathan
  21. You might get a better (and less undignified) look with a mirror, or the modern equivalent that someone recently recommended: a mobile 'phone. Jonathan
  22. Do you think you might be able to document the solution in a way that would have helped you? Words, photos, a blog? Thanks Jonathan
  23. Thanks. I'm assuming we will be able to order bags independently of canisters. Jonathan
