So this is the end for which there isn't a connector? http://my.frooition.com/080026/images/501holder2.jpg If no-one recognises it I'd email the picture and dimensions to as many suppliers as possible, including PoleVolt. I emailed the eBay vendor to ask if they can supply the mating connector, but got a reply to say they can't. Jonathan
On mine the spanner that fits the nut is 5/16" AF and the screw is 19.4 mm overall length. I don't know if others are metric. Now where's that lovely fastener pack site? Jonathan
I found that string by: 1 Finding the post including the link. 2 Hitting the "edit" button so that the dialog box appears. 3 Selecting the linked text in that dialog box. Safari then shows the URL at the bottom edge of the window. But I can't make it appear anywhere else. I can only do this on my own posts because I can't edit others. Jonathan
As well as the visual inspection I'd spend a bit of time trying to locate the intermittent connection and understand the wiring. You might consider making a jump lead with crocodile clips and seeing what gets around the fault. This might offer a solution without getting in too deep. But if you do arrange a bypass wire as a solution rather than for diagnosis then make sure you disconnect the duff wire at both ends. Jonathan
1 Is it a half-hood that you're considering? 2 Roughly what size are you? What type of seats? And do you have a standard floor? 3 Can you post a side-on photo of you and the current bar and the windscreen? Jonathan
It would need a big lookup table to convert the old blatchat indexes to the new ones unless it has already been captured as part of the transition. I don't know much about either system, but if the content has been migrated it might be possible to reindex without reimporting. Jonathan
There are two different resistance maps in the archives but I can't remember the makes of the sensors. Have you measured on the sender terminals? Jonathan
I tried that Google search with and without the site:lotus7.club for some threads that I couldn't find using the site search. It didn't find them. (I don't know how Steve cracked this.) It does work for (at least some) threads created after the transition. Jonathan
We've just found a thread whose title and content weren't found by searching and added a new post. The content of the new post isn't found by searching either. To me this feels like a block of content that isn't indexed, and doesn't get indexed after it is changed. I also suspect that things I can't find were posted shortly before the transition, but I haven't investigated that in detail yet. Understood about the priorities. Jonathan
Thanks, Paul. I saw them all just after posting, 1,3,4,5 when i checked after reading yours... and all of them on reloading the page! I think the fault is not in ourselves, but in our server. Jonathan
