  1. Yes. Some discussion and questions here, but I don't think it's in the development plan for the site. Jonathan
  2. Here's my screendump of the same thing: ... which shows the date and time for the post! Browser was Safari on OS X. They're also visible in Safari on iOS 6. What's causing the difference? Some combination of: Browser and OS Font size or screen width View options for that page User profile?Who can see the date and time and who can't? Jonathan
  3. There's a recent post with a gadget that piggybacks a feed from a bladefuse... Jonathan
  4. Does that document with the standard colours help? Jonathan
  5. I haven't seen that wording before. Here's the guide with methods of inspection. It does use the tread wear indicators to define "primary grooves", so the comment could be related to that. Jonathan
  6. What year? Send me a Private Mail with your email address if you'd like the Guide. Jonathan
  7. Contact them now: they'll probably offer it if you didn't buy with another discount. Jonathan
  8. Finally... a man who knows his trunnions! :-) Jonathan
  9. Mine converted itself into a non-release steering wheel so after finally* removing it I gave the splines and sprung balls a dollop of Castrol CL. But only because that's what sits on the bench: I don't think it matters much. Jonathan * No maxillofacial surgeons were involved in this procedure.
  10. Just for info when done mine reported no pressure on guage and light was on, I had to bleed the t piece to get it to work And see revilla's observations on bleeding. Jonathan
  11. That Amp x Hour rating describes how much energy is stored. For well-starting 7s it's not very important. (It would be if you had to attempt to start the same 7 many times in a row or lots of different 7s!) The other widely-used ratings "Cranking currents" of various flavours are more relevant, but if the 7 is starting correctly then all sensible batteries will be fine. The problems come if you are trying to start a badly-starting 7 multiple times with no other source of power. The PVR 25 will be fine. Wikipedia description of battery terms and ratings. Jonathan
  12. There are some experiences with different types here. Jonathan
  13. http://may2015.com/widget-sidebar/
  14. It may not be easy. I'd try to find one from scrap or talk to Emerald. Jonathan
  15. PVR 22 Clubsport from the Powervamp store on eBay UK: £49.99 including bracket and delivery URL checked 20 February 2015.Jonathan
  16. I bought my PVR 25 from a local dealer because I was caught short. When I last had a good look at the market I came up with the PVR Clubsport 22 from eBay as a possible best buy. Jonathan
  17. What's the connector on the end of the earth lead made of? Jonathan PS: Fix and forget.
  18. :-) Please can I have a copy of that manual? Jonathan
  19. They have agreed to remove the fuel tank earth. That shouldn't take long... ;-) Jonathan
  20. You'll be fine. Just reposition the steering wheel when it's all done. Jonathan
  21. How are you going to set the suspension? Home-made tracking/ toe-in thing? The suspension shoud be set to be symmetrical until you're into fine details for specific circuits... such as Indianapolis! Remove the steering wheel. Set the suspension as you want it. Attach the steering wheel so it's the right way up when the wheels are central. (Assuming you've assembled it correctly the current position of the wheel is just showing you some difference between the old and new set-up.) Jonathan
  22. I haven't seen a wireless solution but there's a neat wired set-up in the archives with, I think, the details of all the components. Jonathan
