  1. If you can get them to the Thame meeting we'll get them to me one way or another. Jonathan
  2. We're a few minutes from J7/ 8A on the M40. If anyone can drop it off there I'd be happy to store it for a bit. Jonathan
  3. Thanks, everyone. No need to tell me if you want them posted: that will be the default. Ian B: Private Mail sent. Wight Blat: that's clever. Please could anyone who requested anything and is going let me know. It's going to be tight on paying, and I'd need a volunteer to collect and take them. Of course there might even be a volunteer who hasn't requested anything...Jonathan
  4. And they're in my garage. Nine days from payment, including two Bank Holidays. Not bad for China to Oxfordshire. No mention of import duty. First I'd like to know who wants to collect them in person from Garsington, OX44 9DB, and whether anyone can offer to do this for others. Thanks Jonathan
  5. Yes. a couple of failures here that sound similar: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/sv-lowered-floor-cracked http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/crack-lowered-floor-pan ... with some ideas for solutions. Clearly needs reinforcement, and it sounds as if it could be welded without removal. Best wishes Jonathan
  6. How old are the links? Most didn't survive the site transition. Can you point to some that are bust? Jonathan
  7. Wouldn't the stripes make it... go faster? :-) Jonathan
  8. Glad it's working. Is the light a self-powered indicator for testing purposes or something else? Thanks Jonathan
  9. No rubbing here. Have you had a good look at the discs? Jonathan
  10. Thanks. I'll remember that when I finally assemble my list of documents for the site. Or is it here already? Jonathan
  11. Is that a Caterham website-quoted shipping cost? There was a suggestion it can be lower if you order by 'phone. Jonathan
  12. Couple of brackets at 90° to brace the fold rather than thicker section throughout? Rubber strip on the exposed edge to protect shoes? Jonathan
  13. What's the earth mod, please? Jonathan
  14. Some of mine are screwed and some are rivetted and none have ever come away. Do you need any with special functions? The vertical side straps on my half hood need a particular (asymmetric?) type to withstand the pull. They came with the hood from SFBS. Jonathan
  15. Well done. If Caterham don't have them (I'd check directly, not just the website) you could try Redline. Jonathan
  16. Welcome. Do you want to post the photos on a server somewhere else and link to them or upload them directly to this site? Can you then add photos of your engine set-up? Jonathan
  17. What Paul says. Check the voltage on those green feeds at various "key" positions. Do you have details of the stack dash so we can see if there's an internal lamp or led for ignition warning? I don't know where the ignition warning light is on a standard Stack dash. I'd start a new thread with that Subject asking for descriptions and photos. Jonathan
  18. :-) That should be the only brown/yellow wire. Are you confident you've found the dash light? I think that plan is right. But you can get there by just changing one lead at a time on your dummy rig (probably easiest with a lead with a couple of croc clips) and checking that everything still works rather than all at once. Jonathan
  19. Only used magnetic ones on bikes! Does look relevant to that type? It could be modified to work at both ends of the cable to the speedometer.Jonathan
