  1. I'm in favour. Jonathan PS: I'm also in favour of nearly all of the site being restricted to Members with only carefully selected tasters and tempters showing to the wider world.
  2. I think the answer was that it won't be, I can't find the discussion. The furthest we explored it is here. Jonathan
  3. Try swapping sender input wires at the selector switch. It will be something silly. Mostly this. But, since you're already measuring resistance at the oil temperature sender, what is it hot and cold... and is it the same when measured at the gauge side of the switch (and thus including the contacts and wires) as when measured at the sender? Jonathan
  4. Bulk Buy Jonathan PS: What's your ground clearance?
  5. James Whiting's. Jonathan PS: Send me a Private Mail if you'd like a Handbook or Guide.
  6. "The Sliding Pillars of Wisdom"? Jonathan
  7. I'd guess the mechanical drive to the meters inside the speedometer is on the way out. Perhaps the cable is putting a bit of side force on the drive or the angle at which you tested it is a bit different from how it sits in the car. Fortunately there are some trusted repairers. Jonathan PS: So then I used a squared off nail and electric drill... "They all say that, Sir"... :-)
  8. What sort of DIN plug? How many pins and is it one of those round ones with a threaded collar as on audio systems? Can you get a photo? AMENDED: It seems that some have 4 pin mini DIN: http://www.cablestogo.com/static/content/common/images/learning/connector-guides/din/115/4pin-mini-din-m-c.jpg Is that it? Jonathan
  9. There's a Club discount with The Wheel Specialist. Jonathan
  10. Ford engine naming is now just weird. You can start to trace which is which from the Wikipedia pages: EcoBoost, Duratec. Jonathan
  11. I feel a bit sheepish now. You should be OK with the lambda sensor, then! :-) Jonathan
  12. Anyone feeling like turning that into a Guide? Jonathan
  13. Always feel a proper idiot asking these questions but here goes... Oh, no.. it's not asking that causes the problems... Jonathan
  14. Thanks Jonathan PS: Agree about the aesthetics! :-)
  15. Can't help with the internal searching, but: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:lotus7.club+%22pin+6%22 Jonathan
  16. Ian B found these for mounting tool tubes: Jonathan
  17. AnthonyH's Better Rear Lights Project. Jonathan
  18. Ask if anyone can sell or lend one? Jonathan
  19. Phew...thought I was misremembering. But it reminded me of ACBC's explanation of which way threaded wheels had to be threaded. Cap and roll of tape ready? Jonathan
  20. You can't see your own posts because it knows you've read them. Check by looking only at that forum. Discussed here. Jonathan
  21. That's a very good idea, whether you only use them while you're sorting this out, or permanently. Are there any disadvantages? Can you get resettable ones that also light up when they're blown? Jonathan
