  1. Well done. Dave's is a K&N RE-0910. That's a K&N RE-0810... for when that link expires! Jonathan
  2. I'd start with the easy bits: • Check the prop shaft joints and bolts. • And the bushes and play on the A frame in the rear suspension. Have you found your local group? That should provide access to some expert ears. : - ) Jonathan PS: If you'd like a copy of the appropriate Assembly Guide and Owner's Handbook then please send me a Private Message with your email address.
  3. "What do you mean "holes sleeved with tube"? and "flex", what flex? These questions as I am about to commit, but still have time to modify things." IIUC you've created a shallow box section. That can fail by the box crushing or warping. It can be made much more resistant by adding pillars between opposing faces. Tubes are a convenient way of doing that. Corrections welcome. Jonathan
  4. What Nick says. (Except that I don't have a Porsche!) Using a big dumb charger is potentially different. Jonathan
  5. "I obtained my latches from a company called Protex - I assume they still exist as they were/are a large supplier to the engineering industry. They also fit the original mounting holes (well, at least mine did!)" IIRC the last time we couldn't find any that did. Well done. Which model, please? https://protex.com Thanks Jonathan
  6. What foam or rubber do you have between the surfaces? There's some discussion in the archives of better latches, and possibly of fettling. Jonathan
  7. "I think you'll find CC now recommend 85Nm." Thanks. Yes, that's what's in the current Assembly Guide. Jonathan
  8. "also whilst on the wheel but topic, torque settings at 75nm seems really low!" Yes, 75 Nm. And the low value has been questioned before. : - ) Jonathan
  9. Start here. and please let us know if it isn't there. Jonathan PS: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site:caterhamlotus7.club+power+supply+boot
  10. Which wheels and axle? Please add a photo if you aren't sure what they're called. Full search of the archives, but I'll narrow that down when we know the wheels. Discussion of required length. Jonathan
  11. "The holes from the old ones can then be patched with some silicone / gorilla tape etc." How about removing the inner part to protect the paint but gluing the outer part back on the door? Might look neater. Jonathan
  12. How to contact Rob. Jonathan
  13. John Vine on CRBs and cable-operated clutches. Jonathan
  14. "RatRace are listed as 'permanently closed' on Google, and that number is invalid - shame, cause as you say, they are really pretty close by." Just to be sure: that's using the Barnet details in my second post? Thanks Jonathan
  15. Thankyou for the correction. (That linked page has Potters Bar.) Ratrace Ltd. Car Accessories And Parts in Barnet 174 High Street, Barnet, Hertfordshire, EN5 5XP 01707 645 040 Even closer to Golders Green! : - ) Jonathan
  16. Ratrace in Potters Bar might have a suitable clutch cable. Jonathan
  17. The pin outs for the ECU are in the engine harness diagram. Do you have all of the diagrams? If not please send me a Private Message with your email address. Jonathan
  18. "The wiring diagram in #49 suggests brown/black and green/blue." As on this other Sigma. Jonathan
  19. Thanks, that's very helpful. Looks like Green/Blue and Brown/Black. As in the diagram. Jonathan
  20. W33SVN wrote: " ... found a wiring diagram that confirmed one sender only." Please could you tell us the wiring colours that run to that sender on your Sigma. Another Member needs some help. Thanks Jonathan
  21. Where is that sender? And do you have one or two water temperature senders? Thanks Jonathan
  22. Thanks for adding the answer. Jonathan
  23. "Anyways, my issues remains, and thats after buying a brand new Gauge form Chris @ Redline...Grrrr...." "So, Im now assuming mnaybe earth fault...does anyone know which of the 3 wires on the back are the earth please ?" Is that about the connections to the gauge? What colours are the wires? Jonathan
