It's not uncommon to bend the throttle pedal, but I think mostly the other way. What stops your brake and clutch pedals when they are fully depressed? Jonathan
There's a picture somewhere of an additional cooling intake from the flanks to the engine bay. (IIRC the Jaguar Mark 2 had an flap in the flanks that fed extra air to the cockpit. And it was controlled by a Bowden cable.) Jonathan
Welcome. That name rings a bell, but only faintly. More, please: Can you add a photo? (Just say if you need help with that.) Anything connected to the ignition? How does the rest of the ignition work?Jonathan
We had a Daimler Conquest (MFW 707) that was a similar colour. Like this, which isn't ours: Jonathan PS: I've never heard about the paint but there once was a possible connection between Lotus and Daimler. But I've only found one source. PPS: My father had seat belts fitted to the Conquest. About 1961. Most people had never seen them except in aircraft. That led to repeated but not very funny jokes based on the registration.
Nothing yet. I'd still like a few more requests before I order the next batch. I expect the price to be similar to the last lot but I can't be sure yet. ... but all the canisters are black. It's the bags that come in black (with tool pockets) and red (without). Jonathan
Can you face pulling them one at a time and seeing what they do? That might help us work out why yours are the way they are, and will certainly help someone else in the future... we just don't know who or when. :-) Jonathan
How many can you see? 5? I've got the 2011 Owner's Handbook. Send me a Private Mail with your email address and I'll send that and you can see if it matches. Jonathan
...avoid ground loops that could cause damage to the electronics by making sure your laptop is only connected to the USB cable and not to power via an inverter or 12V socket. Would it be worth adding an isolator to protect everything, especially if you're moving it between computers and vehicles? Jonathan
There's a vast amount on this in the archives, including the solutions (compromises) that other have gone for. I think it boils down to three initial questions: What are you going to use it for? Have you already decided your final drive ratio and rear wheel size? Have you found a gear calculator that you like yet?Jonathan
