    Thanks. The problem is one of behavioural economics! If I got a free one it would sit there looking at me until I fitted it. But if I have to buy one I'd escalate to a self-cancelling gizmo, which is what I really want, and then I'd fail to decide between all the options. :-) And then there's my concern about future GDP/head... ;-) Jonathan

    It refers to a TPS resistance at idle of 0.45 ohms, That puzzles me as the guidance CC sent me (WN373) quotes 0.43-0.45v. Apart from the actual values I'd like to know why some recommend using a resistance setting and some a voltage setting. Is it because of the imperfect voltage regulation of the whole system? Jonathan

    Sorry to hear about that. Did they say anything about them being hard to balance? Do you want to pursue them for repair costs, and, if so, did you pay with a credit card? Jonathan PS: Wasn't there a very similar story recently, with a good resolution?

    Think this has been mentioned before but do we need to bleed the system when first installed? I am currently fitting a mechanical gauge and wondered if the air in the pipe needs to be bled out. Andrew Revill described a big improvement in response after bleeding. Jonathan
