  1. Similar thought here. I don't know about either the desirability or availability of such a function. But as Original Poster can you edit the Subject in the Original Post (for example to "Sold") and the text of the Original Post? Jonathan
  2. There's a comment in another thread about photo formats from iPhones. I think that's it probably about HEIF/HEIC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Efficiency_Image_File_Format Jonathan
  3. Now that we have *quoting... and assuming that some Members will very familiar with it from elsewhere, and some won't... There's lots of netiquette advice out there, so here are my top suggestions: Do trim the quoted section to the minimum that is needed. (I like to add a marker to show that I've done this... ) Don't read someone else's quote of your post as disagreement. This can happen by mistake very easily. Simply as continuation of the quoted topic. Jonathan * : - )
  4. Is it still two sets of spanners? ; - ) Jonathan
  5. Please send me a Private Message with your email address and the model. Jonathan
  6. I had very little relevant experience. It took me five weeks of evenings and weekends. Missing parts can be a big problem. Please let me know if you'd like an Assembly Guide. Jonathan PS: This used to be a party-piece at motor shows and similar: but was it 12h or 24h?
  7. All hoses that reach the relevant automotive standards have been compatible with 10% ethanol for several decades. There's a lot on this in the archives, IIRC including the SAE and ASTM standards. But: 1 Sevens last a long time and rubber and similar components should be considered to have a finite life. So inspection and replacement should be in service schedules. 2 Sevens often rely on bits and pieces. And that opens the possibility of using components and materials that don't meet automotive standards. IIUC this once happened with some fuel system components from a respected specialist supplier. Jonathan
  8. I'd also conclude that the fault is in the instrument. (With the trip only not working I'd explore the trip reset button and cable.) Speedometer and Instrument Repairs Jonathan
  9. I saw that the Guide suggests that. But I think that you can get enough access to both sides by slackening the gearbox mount (? + engine mounts) and hauling the tail of the box to the side. Jonathan
  10. Technical Guide: "Speedometers" It could be the drive, the cable or the instrument. I'd start by inspecting the drive and the connection to the cable. And the connection of the cable to the instrument. You can test the cable and instrument by spinning the inner cable with an electric drill. Jonathan
  11. Just tested "Download event" with the EV session. .ics file worked fine. : - ) Well done Jonathan PS: But please could you make it ? 1 h long for that meeting?
  12. How about using a smart 'phone as the display? Jonathan
  13. Have you got the aerodynamic studies? IIRC they were published in Low Flying. Jonathan
  14. I know of one Seven that has a blind on the water radiator controlled from the cockpit. (Overcooling on K Series engines is now quite common, for some reason.) Jonathan
  15. And if you'd like the appropriate Assembly Guide and Owner's Handbook for your Seven please send me a Private Message with your email address. Jonathan
  16. Welcome. The best guide that I know on replacement and maintenance is from Alcester Racing Sevens. (This is now on the Wayback Machine.) On choice of pads I recommend searching the archives. And on where to find any parts: start with Redline for both advice and supply. Jonathan
  17. I wouldn't worry about it. And you can reset the relevant fasteners when it's back with its wheels on the ground and appropriately loaded. Have you got the appropriate Assembly Guide? Jonathan
  18. What Steve says: a lot of guests posting in Cyrillic! Jonathan
  19. "Do we have an index of all Dellorto DHLA chat on here? ": https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site:caterhamlotus7.club+dellorto+dhla Jonathan
  20. Sounds like progress. Thanks for adding the answer. Jonathan
  21. The photograph in #3 was in the Assembly Guide up to the last text-rich version in 2016. AIUI that doesn't mean that the factory was recommending it. Jonathan
  22. I can't remember a similar problem, and I can't find anything with a quick search of the archives. Jonathan
  23. Have you already checked online using the registration? This suggests not. Previous discussions. Jonathan
  24. "... but how they can charge that much is a mystery!" De minimis non curat hex. Jonathan
